Three Republican senators floated a fallback plan Thursday to protect hundreds of thousands of illegal immigrants facing deportation in exchange for $25 billion in border security.
Senate Republican Conference Chairman John Thune (S.D.), Sen. Rob Portman (R-Ohio) and Sen. Jerry Moran (R-Kan.) floated a measure that would extend the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program indefinitely in exchange for $25 billion in border security funding.

Don’t you wish these bottom-feeding politicians cared as much about Americans as they do foreign nationals? It appears that the “democrats” are engaged in “nation building” in order to make America a Socialist ****hole.
I say NO! This plan says $5 billion per year for 5 years for the wall. If Democrats get a majority in either house the allocation for wall funding in years 2-5 would be $0. Fund the wall, or send them home.

I think too much of our government is more concerned about fraudulently documented foreigners than they are about the citizens.

I sincerely hope (and am startign to think this was the plan all along) now that all the proposals are shot dead that Trump says DACA is over, time to deport everyone, and fully enforce all immigration laws on the books.
That should get these RINO bastards and a few dems to come crawling back to Trumps demands.

Me too. If the wall isn’t built first then the Dems will just stop building the wall and give all the DACA people citizenship as soon as they are in power.
Border security doesn’t say wall, and it’s capped at 5 billion a year. Does the 5 billion have to be approved every year? Also, missing is chain migration and visa lottery fixes.

Have each DACA pay a $10k fine to pay for the wall, and that’s a deal.
I agree. The time these politicians spend moaning and enabling these illegal aliens is astounding. I do not see them spending any time on Americans who truly need assistance.
Remember these back stabbers in the primaries and if they make to to November too. Better to have a real DemonRAT than a pretend Republican.

Just give them a year. Once you give them legal status that’s all you’ll ever get.
For a variety of reasons. Among them, I can’t see sending people back to a country they’ve never known, where they may not even speak the language, and are set up to fail once they get there, when they didn’t make the decision to break the law.
No citizenship. No voting. No criminality. And no being a public charge.
