Three Republican senators floated a fallback plan Thursday to protect hundreds of thousands of illegal immigrants facing deportation in exchange for $25 billion in border security.
Senate Republican Conference Chairman John Thune (S.D.), Sen. Rob Portman (R-Ohio) and Sen. Jerry Moran (R-Kan.) floated a measure that would extend the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program indefinitely in exchange for $25 billion in border security funding.

I say no. it is essentially amnesty. screw these guys. NONE of them are in southern border states.
How about this: $25 Billion for a wall or DACA kids and their fams start going home March 6?
At 5 billion per year, $25 billion would fund 5 years of construction.
I’m disappointed linda graham is not listed as a bill sponsor. This one is right up her alley.
Let us hope this bill goes nowhere.
These three amnesty traitors need to be primaried .
They are more worried are illegsls than the destruction by these illegals

The GOP, hard at work implementing the One Party State. Worthless cucks.
The Republicans control the House, Senate, and executive branch. We voted them in to "find a way."
If they can't, we'll vote them out. Regardless, it's their job to find a way. Not mine.
And as for DACA amnesty, I'm against it UNDER ALL CIRCUMSTANCES! Should these millions of illegal invaders become eligible to vote, it's over for this country.
If the turkeys Ryan and Mitch could get their heads out of their intestines, they'd push for a second special counsel to neutralize the Russia crap, expose the Rat party's electoral corruption, and seek bigger majorities. Sadly, they're more scared of Jeff Bezos and Chuck Todd than of the consequences of amnesty.
We need conservative candidates who are not afraid to support Trump and be vocal about it on he campaign trail. They will win.
I say allocate $100 billion, actually build the wall, deploy the active duty military to the southern border, put a tax on remittances to Mexico and other countries, end chain migration, end the lottery system, punish employers who hire illegals, end welfare and food stamps for illegals, and pass a Constitutional amendment banning birthright citizenship.
Then we will decide which dreamers we want to keep on a case by case basis.
Why?
Why?
And while we’re at it, arrest the mayors and city council members who have sanctuary cities. And governors like Jerry Brown, too.
My vote for protecting Dreamers? Send them to their real homes, where they will be safe. My preferred option is deport all illegals. No exceptions.
I’d settle for build the wall, end chain migration, end visa lottery, end all immigration programs that are not based on merit, end merit-based immigration unless it both helps our country as a whole and helps working Americans. If we get all of that, I’m willing to trade a year-by-year legal residence for Dreamers, conditional on the wall being built and continued aggressive deportation of all other illegals.
R's and D's are worthless. The fact that we are still dealing with this nonsense is obvious.
Do you want non citizens hanging around $hitting out Americans? No thanks. Just so they can work?
US children suffer everyday because of the wrong decisions of their parent{s}. There isn't a lobbying group for them. There isn't a politician running in front of a camera and having their back. But, we are supposed to support these daca and dreamers. nonsense.
I think, like always, something will get passed and no one will like it. But something will get passed. The Founders set things up that way on purpose. All the shouting about it is meaningless. The deals that will be done to pass the bill will have nothing to do with the wishes of citizens. You’d think after a thousand times people would understand the setup.
Hello
The House is hitting the airports for a long weekend .
Good bye
So, you guys are saying that people need protection from Mexico? Are implying that the country is some kind of... ummm... hole?
I smell a rat. The DHS last Spring estimated $22 Billion to build the wall, so only $5 Bil means at most 20-23% of it could be built per year. Taking into account the all-but-certain cost overruns on any major project, not to mention the portion allocated for non-wall use, this means it will take at least 5 to 6 years to build.
The Rats are hoping to flip either or both halves of Congress, and/or the White House, long, long before the wall is completed. What happens then to the remainder of this 6-year project?
Not completing the wall will simply mean the border-jumpers have fewer routes to take. That's like claiming your house is secure from burglars, because over 98% of the surface area of your house is inaccessible to passage, with the only minor exceptions being two outside doors without locks on them.
"New GOP offer from Thune, Portman, Moran: $25 billion for the Trump's wall in return for DACA extension for existing DACA eligibles only. Don't see any way this gets significant Democratic support."
Not sure what I think of this.
