Dear ladies. Please win. Show em who’s boss.
Fark the IOC!!
It’s stupid, but the article didn’t make a case. He cited N. Korean cheerleaders, actual flags, national anthems, and the Canadian maple leaf as the same thing.
Cheerleaders are in the stands.
Actual flags are required to tell the national teams apart.
National anthems are played during the medal ceremonies for the actual winner only.
The Canadian maple leaf is treated no differently than stars and stripes or the orange on Dutch uniforms.
It’s not as though it’s a partisan political image. Apparently a symbol of liberty to people around the world does not appeal to the IOC.
I’d ask to IOC to read sign language....

Are they going to disallow the eagle that was on Katie Uhlaender’s helmet? How about the hijabs that symbolize oppression and murder?
Dark ‘ em again these commies
“Are they going to disallow the eagle that was on Katie Uhlaenders helmet?”
Replace Lady Liberty with an eagle then. That’s American. Or better yet put Trump masks on.
I’d cover it with red, white, and blue electrical tape, and denote the shape of the fickle finger of fate, as a way to tell these snobs what I really feel about them, and the horse they rode in on.
* Did you ever play hockey?
* Are you familiar with Girls Hockey?
* Did any of your girls play Hockey?
Tough chicita's they are yet feminine, IMHO you are barking up the wrong tree, leave them alone, or you could man up and play against them in a game for charity...
The Statue of Liberty was a gift from France. Isn’t that in the spirit of the Olympics? ......gag....
The statue is clearly associated with immigrants.
This is a ham-handed slam at Trump.
