Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg doubled down on comments she made last year that sexism "no doubt" played a role in Hillary Clinton's 2016 election defeat.
During a Columbia University Women's Conference event on Sunday, Ginsburg was asked to clarify remarks she made last September, in which she said sexism was a "major, major factor" in how the election played out.
"I think it was difficult for Hillary Clinton to get by even the macho atmosphere prevailing during that campaign, and she was criticized in a way I think no man would have been criticized," Ginsburg said.
"I think anyone who watched that campaign unfold would answer it the same way I did: Yes, sexism played a prominent part," she continued.

Hillary barely campaigned, she was the worst candidate I ever seen running the most inept campaign I have ever seen.
Twice the money doesn’t always win when you campaign half as much.
She did not visit Wisconsin once.
Just sayin
She IS senile for one HOWEVER there should be something in place when someone just becomes to OLD to do their job properly there should be an age when a forced retirement is put into play!!!!
Feminists claim that men aren’t harshly criticized.
The majority of the media has devoted the majority of its time to harshly criticizing Trump in the ugliest ways possible.
I remember her saying that she was running “to be the first woman President.” Virtually every campaign stop was a speech about how she was going to represent women and children.
Not that I oppose women and children, but she obviously was not the least interested in the male point of view. The men of this country have for centuries stood as a proxy for their families... the women and the children included.
Every time she talked about men, it was with disgust. I remember her ridiculing Trump, “I have dealt with a lot of men like Donald Trump...” It was a war against men, which is no better than a war against women.
She outspent her opponent almost by double, she had collusion in the media (Lester Holt butted in with a comment that was WRONG in the debate, Trump was totally correct as just one example), she was thrown in the back of a van like a sack of potatoes with a medical condition and only a sparsely seen video exists but the problem was confirmed by Donna Brazile, and this evaluator of facts has that opinion?
I wonder what else she misses?

Misandry is institutionalized at every level.
When all you have is a Feminist hammer, everything looks like a sexism nail.
Macho atmosphere = Trump reinjected testosterone into a campaign for the first time in decades.
Misandry is institutionalized at every level.
That’s changing. :)
Let us be clear....It isn’t that men would vote for a woman, it was THAT woman that they wouldn’t vote for.
Ruth BUzzi’s days are numbered. She just hasn’t gotten the memo yet.
Not that I oppose women
Im starting to oppose some women. Ginsberg,Rice,Page,Powers,Yates,Clinton,Pelosi,Jarrett,Wasserman Schultz,Ohr and Waters.
Old hag is far too political for the supreme court. Her sorry ass needs to go ahead and disappear.
Shouldn’t justices keep their traps shut about whose side they are on?
You beat me to it. If she was a conservative the media would be howling about her inability to do the job.
Point isn’t why she lost but that she lost. The end.
