...Wonder how long she’s been looking...
IIRC she’s only been with DOJ 9 months.
Another one bites the dust
Now that’s quite a career switc. From working from an America First preident, to working for a China-first mass merchandiser
Do the Clintons still have any pull at Wal-Mart?
Hillary used to sit on the board.
Will Rachel Brand, please do something about sourcing products from America?
I was shopping in a Walmart around Christmas.
EVERTHING was made in China. Well, almost, there were a few items from (other) countries.
But mostly, everything was made in China.
She’s the freaking chief lawyer for the company. Do you think she knows the first thing about product pricing, marketing, and supply chain management?
She has those Ivy League ruling class connections - Harvard Law. She also had experience serving in the Bush II and Obama administrations. Assistant Attorney General for Bush; Civil Rights board for Obama. Clerked for Justice Kennedy and was involved in Liz Dole’s presidential campaign.
Washington insider.
Well someone should learn about it.
Because what they are doing now, is wrong.
Wrong. Wrong. Wrong.
And stop shopping at Wal-Mart, if it bothers you so much.
I’m sure she could have gotten this same job nine months ago. Something obviously changed since she got to the Associate AG post.
She was hired while Trump was already in office.
Who hired her?
Anybody know?
What kind of service did we get for her nine months holding down a corner office at DOJ?
Nope. I will complain.
Sam Walton was all about buying American products. Now almost the entire store is “Made in China”.
And every other store, I might add. Not just Walmart.
At that level, it isn’t what you know, it’s who you know. Worked for Liz Dole, McCain, Justice Kennedy, Bush II, Obama, US Chamber of Commerce. Lawyer at Wilmer Hale. Very highly qualified for her current level. Maybe not so much as a staff attorney.
On another thread, someone said if they leave their gov’t job, they can plead the Fifth whereas if they stay, they are compelled to testify.
Not sure if that is accurate, but it might explain the exodus...Not that she did anything wrong, but maybe she just does not want to get caught up in the crossfire...
I think she feels that Rod Rosenstein is about to get the boot. I do not think that she wants the #2 job at the DOJ as that would mean she would be over looking Mueller. She probably does not want all the drama associated with that.
Where do you manufacture the consumer products that YOU sell?
Nobody likes a whining malcontent.
