CNN counterterrorism analyst Phil Mudd is known for making provocative on-air remarks and generally being fired up during segments. A CNN appearance on Friday, however, may end up being his most notorious yet.
Hours after the controversial Nunes memo dropped, Mudd indicated that the FBI was going to take matters into its own hands and make sure they eventually come out on top in a head-to-head battle with the president. With the FBI and its director already making their objections to the memo which purports to show FISA abuses within the Russia probe crystal clear before its release, Mudd said that agents at the bureau are angry and will stop President Donald Trump from dismantling the Russia investigation.
The workforce will look at this and say this is an attack on our ability to conduct an investigation with integrity, he exclaimed during a CNN panel discussion. There are hundreds of agents and analysts working. This not just Christopher Wray, the FBI director.
He continued, So Im going to tell you the FBI people are ticked. If you think you can push us off this because you can intimidate the director, youd better think again. Youve been around for 13 months. Weve been around since 1908. I know how this game is going to be played. Were going to win.

True Americans don’t scare, they get mad! Remember the Alamo, the Maine, Pearl Harbor, 9-11!
Pardon me Beer but who didn’t say what?
Phil Mudd. Was his great grandad the doctor who helped the assasin and traitor John Wilkes Boothe?
I work for Homeland Security. If this kind of nonsense was going on in DHS, I would want it to be exposed and dealt with.
Is there any doubt that Divine Providence had a hand in writing our Constitution? “The Government” best take into consideration “The Military” and an extreme well armed Militia. We voted him in. Do anything against the President and you are attempting a coup, and you will reap the whirlwind.
He hopes to get a Votemageddon going.
Rank and File Agents on the streets doing all the dirty work and taking all the risks are overwhelmingly Trump supporters.
It must be remembered that trump has several retired ranking military officers close at hand.
He did say it:

And he also said (on the air) that people in certain agencies are going to "kill this guy (Trump)."

You have a good person in there now.
Shes energized from helping install a new Democrat senator in Alabama...
I might be here for a votemageddon, but hopefully I’ll be in heaven by the time the armegeddon comes!
I am responding to the “screw the entire FBI crowd”
That is what CNN wants us to say when they say this outlandish crap.
The average FBI agent is no more the problem or to blame than the average private that loaded bombs on planes when Clinton ventured into Bosnia. It was an attempt to be a friendly reminder that the President himself has said NUMEROUS times that he supports and appreciates the men and women of the FBI. His feud is not with the agency - it is with the political appointee and inner circle holdovers from the previous administration who apparently weaponized the FBI against Trump. I imagine many if not most of them are pretty disgusted by what occurred.
It is sad, yet very revealing, that so many on the left appear to fantasize about a police agency taking out a duly elected leader.
She had to endure abuse from that wack job Corey Booker.
She handled herself very well.
I meant Trump did not say he opposes the FBI
The lunatic referenced in this thread from CNN would likely say anything he could to cause Trump problems.
Well I’ve tried from well, well before this to get a song about a redneck revolution launched.

Still, fish rot from top down. Cure the rot or abolish.
I’d be inclined to ask Mr. Mudd what the score was, and what game we are really playing. By all appearances thus far, the top brass of the FBI staged an open rebellion against their superior, not because of a loyalty to the constitution but because of a partisan bias and disregard for the oaths they swore to uphold. And how’s that working out for Comey, McCabe, Strzock, etc...? How’s it working out for Trump?
13 months? The President has been around since the founding of the country!
I remember talks of "scores of FBI agents about to quit and make public statements!" when Comey cleared Hillary.
It was all bluster. I didn't see a news report about one agent that actually took a stand and quit. If I am wrong, please post the link to me. Thanks.
