I’m suggesting that if your theory about Mueller being a good guy is actually true, then he is having to sit back and watch while known traitors like Strozk can ruin the life of someone like General Flynn. As you know, lying to the FBI can be accounted for in literally any way; Flynn can only afford to keep paying his attorneys for a limited amount of time. It was probably easier to just cop a plea so they would leave him alone.

But the larger issue is that Mueller would have to be running the “good cop” investigation while surrounded by the most devious assemblage of DC swamp attorneys ever put together. I think that is what so many are struggling to understand.

Why is he saying this ?

Good question. After every revelation of crappola from DNC, Press, and bureaucracy, one of the supposed white hats comes along and . . . craps on it.

Example, AG Sessions: “No department is perfect.”

Yeesh, if you can’t something bad about these criminals, don’t say anything at all.

Yes, where the hell IS the FISA Judge? It’s renewed 3 times and the Judge didn’t know it based on a lie? BS. If The Judge issues a statement denouncing this all the MSM spin crumbles. Yet nothing, Which is why l think it was a hand picked Rat FISA Judge(s).

I never trusted Flynn, but I'd be the first to admit I don't know much about him. I never trust anyone who spent a career in Washington and then retired to make a fortune peddling influence to foreign interests.

He's either playing Mueller's team like a fool or he is dumb as a bag of rocks. I don't see how you can look at his situation any other way.

Thanks and your second paragraph is exactly right.

Remember the leftwing meltdown on election night? This is more of the same. It was sinking into their little reptilian brains that the jig was up and they were frantic, panicked, desperate, and lashing out.

They have the advantage (or disadvantage, depending on how you look at it) of knowing where the shoe is and exactly what it looks like. I think it’s huge and ugly and it’s going to crush them.

The 5 stages of grief:

1. Denial
2. Anger
3. Bargaining
4. Depression
5 Acceptance.

I’m feeling a little Schadenfreude watching them go through the stages.

See Post #145. I don’t know if Mueller is a “good guy,” but it’s not unreasonable to think he’s just a regular Federal prosecutor doing his job right now.

Flynn’s career was in the military, not “Washington” per se.

He was fired for fingering Pence as a pedo-enabler.

I remain 100% confident that Mueller will continue to go out of his way to help destroy the US.

Gowdy has a long history in the DOJ and probably wants to get back in there at the top where huge payoffs are the norm. Mueller, Comey, Wray, all are paid millions of dollars per year to sit on boards of companies for doing basically nothing (but secretly pulling strings for their masters). Supposedly Gowdy already pocketed $4 million of his own during his time in Congress, but some those DOJ guys can make that in a single year.

"In other words, Rosenstein has to recuse himself for the same reason Sessions did." ...... Whut? I'm not at all sure why Sessions felt he had to fold his tent and turn an investigation over to Obama's best boy Mueller and the Democrats he chose ... Mule didn't have have any qualms about looking for Russia-Trump collusion: and this witch-uh ... this investigation has been fresh bull squeezings every day since "Fearless Fosdick" Sessions turned the reins over to leering Obama sycophants & butt buddies. Seen any recent photos of the Mule smiling like this? No. He's on a mission. Image and video hosting by TinyPic

Yes, they go far out on limbs.

I agree with both of your points.

One advantage of spending 40 years in the media bubble/spotlight of NYC is that Trump has already had lots and lots of scrutiny. So the idea that these spyweasels are suddenly going to find huge dirt on him is ludicrous.

Gowdy: I’m leaving Congress to go back to private judicial because that Nunes showed my ass up by actually taking down the Deep State

Gowdy is obviously a swamp thing. No wonder nothing ever came from any of his investigations.

This is such typical ignorant nonsense. We happily cheer the memo, and guess who wrote it? Guess who read the source FISA docs to do so? That's right, that "swampcritter" Gowdy.

ou Gowdy haters need to step back and take a deep breath. He has and folks like Jason Chavetz and others created the conditions to take down the deep state. Cut the man some slack.”

agree. some guys just don't want to live their lives with that much rock star attention.

Flynn's career was in the military, not "Washington" per se.

Anyone who gets to that level in the military is a politician more than a military guy.

He was fired for fingering Pence as a pedo-enabler.

If you have evidence for that I'd love to see it. If you don't, then it qualifies as one of the most outlandish statements I've ever seen posted outside DU.
