T.Gowdy: I remain 100 percent confident in Special Counsel Robert Mueller
twitter ^ | 02/02/2018 | Trey Gowdy

Trey Gowdy, via twitter:

It is important for the American public to know if the dossier was paid for by another candidate, used in court pleadings, vetted before it was used, vetted after it was used, and whether all relevant facts were shared with the tribunal approving of the FISA application.

While this memo raises serious concerns with the FISA process, I have been and remain confident in the overwhelming majority of the men and women serving at the FBI and DOJ.

As I have said repeatedly, I also remain 100 percent confident in Special Counsel Robert Mueller. The contents of this memo do not - in any way - discredit his investigation.

At some point the deep staters threatened Fowdy or his family, IMHO.

Gowdy keeps saying that Mueller was a part of nothing having to do with the nefarious activities, during the campaign, nor during the transition, nor inside the White House and that Mueller was deemed clean enough and well respected by literally everyone on both sides of the aisle.

He came with excellent recommendations from nearly all branches of government, and even Trump while preparing his administration was happy to consider Mueller as Director of the FBI, but who in the end went instead with Christopher Wray.

Mueller was trusted and therefore became a shoe-in for Special Counsel. He took the job.

I guess Gowdy trusts Mueller, both personally and professionally. I am a Gowdy fan, but remain very nervous of Mueller’s meanderings.

It was that stinking Rosenstein who wrote a wide open contract for Mueller to go hunting beyond the “Russia, Russia, Russia” investigation, to even where the sun doesn’t shine, in order to pull up some prosecution recommendation of somebody, somewhere.

Sessions The Sleepy has been on the side of all the wrong people ever since he opened the damn door at the Justice Department and defends the Swamp in every single Congressional hearing. Betrayed.

That’s insightful and certainly a possibility.

I do not get how seemingly smart people can feel sorry for or take up for evil.

Fanboi I guess. I have all the evidence I need watching him over the past 6 years. Most overhyped representative ever.

It is curious though, that when he could just remain silent he chooses to run to the camera and renew his praise of Mueller.

I think you might be on to something. He is echoing DJT who has continued to say that he has confidence that Mueller will do the right thing. I’m wondering if the not seeking reelection is for him to clear the decks for something like, oh, I don’t know, maybe being the head of the FBI or something...

I would be genuinely amazed if Mueller were a white hat.
