Special Counsel Robert Mueller's team has postponed the sentencing of former national security adviser Michael Flynn due to the “status” of the investigation, raising questions as to what the development means for the direction of the Russia probe...“Due to the status of the Special Counsel’s investigation, the parties do not believe that this matter is ready to be scheduled for a sentencing hearing at this time,”...

It’s a joint request. Flynn’s attorneys should be demanding a do over. But it’s possible Mueller is reacting to the FBI scandals by planning to indict somebody. Either way, this delay and the wording is a major development.

It's possible that the about to be delivered summary (why is everyone calling it a memo?) names people on his persecution committee, and all the characters involved had a finger in the FBI/DOJ pie.

I have a feeling Flynn is about to get more than enough to convince a court to withdraw his plea.

I agree. Mueller will probably back off because he knows the Memo will kill his investigation.

If he plead guilty based on false affidavit or other wrong actions Flynn can get this overturned all together

I wish Flynn could sue them all, and get the money back he lost fighting the bogus charge.

I think Flynn WANTS to testify under oath to things the Deep State would prefer he not talk about. Remember that he was a member of DIA. I wouldn’t be surprised if he’s a willing plant by Trump to Honeypot Mueller’s circus, as part of a bigger campaign to identify, trap and destroy the black hat intel community and it’s DOJ counterparts.

That Mueller is operating with no supervision or responsibility, and can issue cryptic messages about the fate of a man accused by him, with no explanation whatsoever - is a blight on the rule of law and slap in the face to the Republic.

Rosenstein testified before Congress. When asked if he would reign in Mueller if he got too far afield, he answered that he would.

Bullcrap.

Rosenstein might be snake, but he’s a sharp snake. I’ve heard that a special counsel is supposed to have a definite area that he is charged to investigate, but that when Rosenstein hired Mueller, he didn’t specify the matters he was hired to look into. I doubt that was an oversight. No wonder Trump was pissed at Sessions—he didn’t negotiate on Trump’s behalf with Rosenstein, he ran away and dropped his responsibilities like a hot potato.
