Nunes Statement on FBI, DOJ Objections to Release of HPSCI Memo
Ushouse ^

Posted on 01/31/2018 12:52:48 PM PST by janetjanet998

House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence Chairman Devin Nunes issued the following statement today:

“Having stonewalled Congress’ demands for information for nearly a year, it’s no surprise to see the FBI and DOJ issue spurious objections to allowing the American people to see information related to surveillance abuses at these agencies. The FBI is intimately familiar with ‘material omissions’ with respect to their presentations to both Congress and the courts, and they are welcome to make public, to the greatest extent possible, all the information they have on these abuses. Regardless, it’s clear that top officials used unverified information in a court document to fuel a counter-intelligence investigation during an American political campaign. Once the truth gets out, we can begin taking steps to ensure our intelligence agencies and courts are never misused like this again.”

Tell that to the people in Venezuela , Iran , North Korea , the Yazidis , the Kurds , the Egyptian Copts etc etc , who are patiently waiting for God to move for them , while they get slaughtered , starved and oppressed . Sometimes I think God deals in martyrs and martyrdom and have never been able to figure that out . May work for Him , but if you are the helpless and unwilling soon-to-be martyr ... God used to support warriors very nicely , ie; Joshua’s generation . But now days ? It is no longer in vogue to pick up the sword . YET...wasn’t it even Jesus himself who advised his disciples to “ sell what you have and buy a sword ? “ I take that literally : Buy A Sword ! and don;t lose your life while waiting for divine intervention on your/our part .

After hiding things from Nunes for more than a year, the FBI has the nerve to call his memo flawed because it doesn't have all the information!

No wonder he's pissed!

Wow what a grand change of subject.

This was America, last I heard.

Just how are they “patiently waiting for God to move for them” by the way? If it’s with superficial ritual, that doesn’t move the Lord at all whatsoever.

Excellent point. Hard for them to fight the criminals in the Dem-owned WH and DOJ. I hadn’t really thought about that even when it is so blindingly obvious.

-- The FBI has become thoroughly politicized and corrupt. It needs to be rebuilt. --

It needs to be burnt to the ground. I don't think Wray is the man for either chore, rehabilitation or orderly dismantling. He's going to claim the FBI is clean as a whistle, all the while stonewalling.

Oh well. Corrupt government has been our master for so long, continuing it just maintains status quo. Time to use it against the DEMs.

Looks like Wray is butt hurt. That or he has to at a minimum pretend he has the back of the political hacks in his midst on the 7th floor.

That was my first thought upon hearing about Director Wray's "objection" to releasing the memo. After all, Wray is Trump's appointee.

Trey Gowdy, who said coincidentally today he is ending his political career, also signed the Ethics Committee complaint against Devin Nunes. Both Schiff and Gowdy prevented Nunes from accessing Classified docs until they decided to clear him, coincidentally to the IG releasing info bit by bit in Dec.

Trump should take away that high-level security clearance he gave Gowdy and give it to Devin Nunes

Wray needs to do his job and find the source of this FBI statement.
Then fire him. We know it is not McCabe. He bite the dust. It’s not
Peter Stzrok or Lisa Page.

Which means the Deep State runs deep. Very deep.
