CBS news poll of SOTU watchers;
Currently 75% approve, 25% disapprove.
I feel sorry for the poor intern at CBS who has to stay up all night and find a poll with negative results that CBS can report on tomorrow while they bury their own.

He hit a grand slam tonight with this Reaganesque speech with his own vision. He did our nation proud and showed that he is more than capable of doing what is necessary. May God bless him in all he does.
His guests and explanations of their stories was heart rending.
Makes you wonder how much better President Trump's numbers really are.
It was so good to watch a State of the Union that left me feeling good about my country and the man in charge. Best President of my lifetime and that includes Reagan.

Many pundits who are normally critical of the president were singing his praises. Frank Luntz, for example, was deeply moved — and mocked the Democratic response delivered by Rep. Joe Kennedy III (D-MA):

Update: A CNN poll showed a similar result, with 70% of viewers expressing a “positive” or “very positive” reaction to Trump’s speech.
