FOX News correspondent Catherine Herridge reported on Monday that FBI Director Christopher Wray viewed the explosive FISA memo this weekend.
As a civilian, he can still be subpoenaed to testify before Congress, correct? And would then have no excuse not to tell the truth.
I just called Rooney’s office (I’m a FL resident) and was told that the Congressman is planning to vote yes on the release today.
Wray reads the memo. McCabe “takes early leave”. Was he given a deal?
Yes. We are all subject to the subpoena power, and we never have an excuse to not thell the truth. McCabe is also still bound by non-disclosure (classified info) and other agreements, so the nature of his testimony shouldn;t change, regardless of being in or out of the job. Likewise, we all have fifth amendment right. we cannot be compelled to testify thruthfully so as to incriminate ourselves.
I'm not sure what exposure he has as a leaker. Most of what he leaked to the press was false insinuation, and that is not criminal unless one adds it up to sedition or seditious conspiracy.

Why would McCabe resign the day after his boss reads a brainwashing memo ?

So now you are a D rep in a relatively safe district, and you’ve seen what’s in the memo.
The party is likely going to be very much harmed, so thinking about your own future for a minute, you might end up facing a former Bernie guy with a serious weed up the bum about what Hil did to Bernie (go check out H.A. Goodman on YouTube for an example. He’s relentless, but he’s also committed, and has the zealotry of conversion and revenge).
I’m not sure it goes party line. Nancy is done anyway. I think it will be every man for himself depending on what’s in the memo, and what additional stuff it will lead to once the memo is out.

McCabe didn’t resign or get fired according to Fox. He’s on vacation until his retirement in March.

Been calling them too... the aide in King’s office sounded a little tense/annoyed, perhaps he’s getting swamped with calls.
Comey was and is pulling the same stunt with "obstruction." The press hallucinates what isn't there.
We The People, demand the memo be released.
