I’m confused. I’d appreciate it if you could clarify for me. I posted someone’s blog to Blogs, and one response assumed it was MY blog, which notion I corrected. But my conclusion was that Blogs was for our personal blogs, not for other widely read blogs. What’s the actual situation? Thanks.

Bloggers & Personal is for vanities and blogs. You can post something from a blog, even if it’s not your own blog. Big complaint is bloggers posting excerpts of their own blogs on FR just to get the hits. If you’re posting your own blog, post the whole article, since there should be no copyright restriction for publishing your own stuff.

It certainly has become more difficult to distinguish between some blogs and certain news sites. Drudge Report would be a good example of something that doesn’t really fit either, although I think he was considered more of a blogger type starting out years ago. Drudge doesn’t write news stories but collects them in one place where they are easy to find.

According to “Whois Dcwhispers.com”, Dcwhispers is owned by James Jenness since 2015. Dcwhispers was registered with GODADDY.COM LLC on April 07, 2015. James Jenness resides in Anderson, USA and their email is jim@bigjimj.com.

I’ll be darned if I can find any info about who this James Jenness character really is.
