What utted bull$#*+! I lived through the Reagan years and they hated Reagan then like they hate Trump now. Reagan had a brief GOP majority in the senate (2 years, I think), but never in the house.
He had to constantly go past congress to take his agenda directly to the American people, just as Trump has to do now. Reagan accomplished a great deal, but he could have done so much more were it not for the swamp creatures in DC and their media allies.
I voted for Ronald Reagan twice for POTUS after listening to him on TV for many years speaking out for America. I consider him to be very high in ranking but Trump has already outdone Reagan. If Trump continues on this path he will deserve to have his image carved into Mount Everest as well as every other mountain on this Earth. I speak as one who, only a few years ago, thought the idea of Donald Trump running for president was absurd but now I proudly say I voted for him even though I still had doubts when I voted. To those who say he has not done everything he promised I say, maybe not yet but he has seven years left. I read Atlas Shrugged more than fifty years ago and Donald J. Trump could have stepped off the pages of that book.
