The American Constitution is an outdated, malfunctioning piece of junk — and it's only getting worse.
When written, the Constitution made a morally hideous compromise with slavery that took a war and 750,000 lives to make right. And while its basic structure sort of worked for awhile in the 20th century, the Constitution is now falling prey to the same defects that has toppled every other similar governing document the world over.

Major problem in the Senate is the 17th Amendment. Get rid of that and go back to direct appointment of senators by state legislatures.
Original intent was that senators were supposed to be “ambassadors” and represent the interests of their respective states; not a “House of Lords”.
Second fix is to require foolproof voter identification.
Third fix is that your right to vote is suspended if you take money from the Government, welfare or salary. Otherwise, you have a conflict of interest.

As I have told my Leftist friends, time and time again: If you don’t like a Law, get enough people to agree with you and change it. So, if they don’t like a piece of the Constitution: GET ENOUGH PEOPLE TO AGREE WITH YOU AND CREATE AN AMENDMENT AND CHANGE IT. Obama set a dangerous and reckless precedent......ignoring the Laws he didn’t want to follow. Now his minions believe they can ignore the Laws they don’t want to follow.......and if you try to hold them accountable for their criminality, you are a ‘racist, homophobe, misogynist, etc’. And they still have a louder voice with their Big Media megaphone.
This guy is an idiot. There has never been a Constitution like ours nor a country like ours. We are unique and that is what guys like this hate. They want to see the US part of the crowd just like every other socialist state because misery loves company.

I don’t think we actually need to do this. The only thing that makes sense to me is to elect House members every four years (to end perpetual campaigning), and even that is questionable, considering that the current House has successfully passed numerous bills, only to have them die at the hands of the longer-term Senators.
That just figures.
I don’t seem to remember the constitutional scholar from the last administration having a problem with it. Funny how when a Repub gains the WH, the Constitution needs to be replaced. When are people gonna wake up to the disingenuousness of the Dem Party.

But to take the edge off of that, it DOES have the mechanisms built into it to improve it and plug the holes where they are found. It isn't the fault of the document that we don't read and follow its instructions!
Why don’t the America haters just leave and start their own country? A deflagged cruise ship is pretty close to the perfect laboratory for their socialist experiments. The population density is maximally high, nobody owns a car or large house to envy, nobody can buy much because it won’t fit anywhere, many rules and regulations are required to make it work, no guns, everything is free but actually costs a whole lot, and anybody that develops a taste for freedom can just be tossed overboard.
The main problem with the US is an excess of democracy, created by amendments, and easily fixed by repealing them. Representation without taxation cannot work in the long run.
As for the elf that wrote this article — drown him in a slop bucket.
