By the way, in any criminal trial, the destruction of evidentiary records or papers is automatically seen as an evidence of deception that can be interpreted by the jury as evidence of guilt. Judges so instruct juries all the time.

Congress should call to testify, UNDER OATH, the FBI technical systems STAFF LEVEL employees responsible for records maintenance and backup. They’re much less likely to lie and dissemble in their testimony. In other words, they’ll be more honest and it will be far more likely that the truth will be revealed.
I also hope that the IRS Inspector General will be on this like white on rice.
