I don't watch television, but as part of a video classroom assignment on how show segments are strung together, I ended up watching Saturday Night Live. I watch it anyway on YouTube for the glimpse it gives on how the left "thinks."
I watched the opening segment last night, which was a mirthless five-minute take attempting to convince us President Trump was dumb. Later on in the program, at the half-hour mark, the second political skit, led by actress and guest host Jessica Chastain was more interesting.
Using the format of a cheesy game show with a panel of three contestants, Chastain asked her contenders in the five-minute segment whether this or that action of President Trump's "matters anymore."
What Even Matters Anymore - SNL

Is SNL relevant anymore?
The point many on the Left are missing is this: what really matters in a leader are his policies, his decisions. All the rest — looks, speech, family, pets — is fluff. Trump has been making excellent decisions. Thus I support him. The Left is concentrating upon fluff. Thus they are silly.
I’m old enough to remember when SNL was actually funny.
I watched the open then fell asleep, it was distinctly unfunny, but they don’t seem to care as long as they get in their digs at Trump. TDS.
Great show if you have the IQ of a six year old. (the avg. for libs)
40 years ago it was funny.
The skit they did with President Reagan and Jimmy Stewart
was the best!
Like I’ve often said, 1970s episodes of “The Electric Company” are more entertaining to watch than SNL these days.
Many are caught up with what President Trump says. I am caught up with what he does. My IRA is doing great. Unemployment for whites and blacks is down. Taxes are lower. He is fighting back.
I am happy with what he is doing.
Is SNL relevant anymore?
What is SNL? Is it another 3 letter Federal agency?
Does it really matter anymore?
Its been decades since I watched it with anything like regularity. That was during the Mike Meyers era. Phil Hartman and Jan Hooks (two of my favorites) were also a part of that stellar cast and those two are gone. I remember fuming over the liberal slant back then, too. But they would take jabs at the liberals every once in awhile. If only to say they did.
I remember Saturday Night Live.
Kinda humorous, but it doesn’t matter.
Like it’s been wiped with a cloth...
Speaking of things that dont matter any more...
Even back in the early days, it took a certain mentality or mind set to determine even what they were trying to “nuance”.
Sometimes the “nuance” of a meat cleaver would be more subtle.
Was SNL EVER relevant?
