Google says it is discontinuing its fact-check feature because it proved to be too faulty for public use, directly attributing the decision to an investigation by The Daily Caller News Foundation. The company has no date set for when it will return, if ever.
“We launched the reviewed claims feature at the end of last year as an experiment with the aim of helping people quickly learn more about news publications,” a spokeswoman for Google told TheDCNF, while also adding that TheDCNF was the catalyst for the recent move. “We said previously that we encountered challenges in our systems that maps fact checks to publishers, and on further examination it’s clear that we are unable to deliver the quality we’d like for users.”

This was too transparently biased. Google will just shadow ban conservatives like Twitter does.
Translation:
Google found that users were using the system to mock their over political bias and censorship.
Reality is unfairly biased against liberals.
I quit using Google a long time ago because of their bias and spying. I went to Ixquick for years but recently switched when Ix became Google without the spying. Ix now has an obvious Google bias.
Google will remain EVIL.
Google doesn’t want to be there when the hammer falls.
Same with Apple.
One thing most of Silicon Valley understands...its $$$$
I’d be willing to bet the jump in the Stock Market is getting the attention of even RATS at these companies.
Back in 2002-04, Andy Grove, Gordon Moore and Paul Ortelini tried to get the attention of GWB and how the GOP could help High Tech.
All had been big supporters of the GOP in the past.
They were totally ignored so they ignored the GOP.
I am hearing rumblings that this is changing inside some of SV companies.

Their algorithm was simple enough to figure out- Leftist spew - Correct; Conservative reasoned argument - Wrong!
I have had two Liberals, a work acquaintance and a Family Member say to me “those are your facts” when we were discussing Politics.
These same people can watch the Video of Hillary being thrown in the Scooby Van like a sack of Potatoes and then tell you with a straight face that POTUS Trump is an unhealthy fat slob who is too sick to serve in Office.
As another former Coworker said to me on Fakebook after I responded to some Liberal lunacy he Posted, we are living in two worlds. He was correct, his distorted world of Liberalism and my world of common sense.
In other words, “DON’T CONFUSE ME WITH FACTS, I’VE MADE UP MY MIND”.
