I don’t use Facebook, so may have some basic ignorance, but.......

Why does Facebook have a news feed in the first place? Wasn’t Facebook supposed to be a site where people’s vanity shines, and they keep up with family and friends and what’s going on in their lives? How does news enter into it? How is it that Facebook is somehow a news source or news site?

Or look at another way, if you want to know what CNN says, won’t you watch CNN or go to their site? Why the need for Facebook to decide that you should get CNN on the Facebook site??

Again, pardon my ignorance if I completely misunderstand Facebook.

Facebook is a cryptic marketing tool that collects data on its many users and sells it for cash. That’s why it is difficult, if not impossible, to go completely “dark” to its interests.

And with a typical limousine liberal at the helm. And people dump their personal info into this machine despite the red flags.
