Their silly little law will not even pass muster at the CA Supreme Court or the 9th Circuit.

You cannot prevent a citizen from cooperating with Federal LEO.

This Becerra guy is seriously a piece of dog shit. Hey you little fool, Fed law trumps state law...especially when it comes to immigration and the safety of the people.

Go ahead, arrest employers (or try to) and see how far you get. I think Mr. Trump has had enough your puto little ass and that pinhead governor of ours.

What has happened to my state? God save us!

It's a federal civil rights violation for a state or local government to criminally or civilly prosecute people for complying with a federal law. If it involves the defendant's trade or business, it is extortion and a RICO violation meriting treble damages as well as statutory attorney fees. Plus then the prosecutors have to pay the treble damages from their own pockets because it would be a public policy violation for the state or local government to reimburse then.

I.e., this is a hollow threat which only reinforces California's standing as a failing state.

Unfortunately, the CA a$$holes will force the suit all the way to the Supremes, since the 9th Circus will affirm the lower kangaroo court ruling. The laws need to change so that governments PAY on frivolous lawsuits!!

When Arizona tried to stop the illegal alien invasion at its border with Mexico, the Kenyan b*tch sued Arizona and the illegals wanted Sheriff Arpaio to be executed. Why is there a different standard for the morons in California?

I wouldn't bet too heavily on that.

So sad to see my once great state now permanently in the hands of America-hating seditious traitors - courtesy of massive immigration-driven demographic change.

Third world immigration is a terrible thing. It will end our homeland.

The kalifornia crazies are just one step away from actually using force of arms to prevent the feds from arresting illegals. This is ludicrous. How can anybody of a reasonable mind still be living there?

Sounds like clear-cut, Obstruction of Justice...people hiding federal lawbreakers, and such.

So essentially - the AG of California has committed multiple federal crimes - extortion and cohersion to not cooperate with federal law enforcement and to blatantly violate federal immigration law. He could be indicted for this.

And this logic is from the same people on the left who said AZ’s laws were void because states had no right to set their own immigration polices.

One step the feds should take immediately is to stop issuing visas and other authorizations for foreigners bound for California destinations. If California will not cooperate with immigration enforcement, then it is unsafe to trust them with foreign nationals.

So:

No more student visas for California colleges and universities. Goodbye MAJOR cash cow for those institutions. This will put some smaller colleges out of business.

No more temporary worker visas for CA companies. Tough beans Google, Facebook, Disney etc. No Indian software engineers on H1-b visas for you. And Ag business - yeah your temp farm workers on H2 visas aren’t coming either.

And of course, no immigrant visas for anyone wanting to join a family member whose “petition” shows a CA address.

And, if the visa shut off doesn’t have them squealing for mercy, then the coup de grace - no Visa Waiver “ESTA” authorizations for flights landing in California. Adios tourist industry.
