Could be. I know I see a lot of the old ones still out there. But I’ve also heard people say Dodge engines and transmissions wouldn’t last more than 75,000 miles. Mine was still purring when I took it to the junk yard.

Thanks. Will Check it out at the Philadelphia Auto Show next week.

Actually, the list pretty much is based upon the personal preference of the author. The term “cars” as used in this article clearly excludes pickup trucks (and apparently SUVs).
Americans who hang onto their vehicles for years drive pickup trucks. The three best selling vehicle models in the US are all trucks.

My car is on the list and my anecdote supports the story.

Going to start looking for a car that can fit 3 car seats I've got an old photo somewhere of my wife's '91 Buick Regal with three car seats strapped in to the back seat.
I remember thinking, at the time, how ludicrous that was. Shortly afterwards, we got her a Tahoe.

Sounds like an El Camino ... but with four doors... No...two. And no rear side-windows. It's a car-based panel van.

We had a Buick Regal back in the day. Good car.

RWD isn't very good in the snow! Chains, studded, snow tires...sounds like too much trouble for me. :)

Most Toyotas are built in North America, mostly in the USA. If the VIN starts with a one ‘1’ is was made in the USA.

My 2008 F-150 with 6 cylinders, manual transmission and roll up windows only has 9 years. So far. Unless I have an accident, it is likely to pass 20.
‘95 F-150..bought it new for $16,000. Drive it almost every day...160,000 miles..23 years old..cherry.
