Sen. David Perdue, R-Ga., repeatedly said Sunday morning that reports President Trump referred to Haiti and various African countries as "shithole countries" during a meeting with senators this week on immigration was a "gross misrepresentation."
Perdue use the phrase "gross misrepresentation" several times during an interview with ABC's "This Week."

Interesting.
Good. Trump strives for accuracy.
Well, what did he say—specifically.
If Durbin and Graham lied about this to get back at the President for inviting immigration hard liners to the meeting (Goodlatte and Cotton), they ought to be tarred and feathered. And after this, the President should make it a requirement that ALL meetings with Senators should be recorded.
That’s too bad. I kind of liked it.
I think he is smarter than that. He might have said loser countries or something similar.
IMHO, this is a setup for the release of a video or audio that will prove, once and for all, President Trump did not use the word Sh!thole.
I reckon President Trump is just sitting back and will pick a time that will provide maximum damage to the RATS and the RINOS.
If Durbin and Graham lied about this to get back at the President for inviting immigration hard liners to the meeting (Goodlatte and Cotton), they ought to be tarred and feathered.
Now you are over the target. There were reports they were very unhappy that Goodlatte and Cotton where there.
” Trump strives for accuracy.”
He could have said Haiti kicked “whitey” out over a 100 years ago.....AND, they still don’t have sewers. Truth Hurts for Haiti or ZimBobWay etc etc etc
I Tweeted POTUS and recommended that he refer to Durbin, as
Lyin Dick Durbin. I urge everyone to Tweet Trump to stick Lyin Dick with this nickname
The first step in fixing a problem should be to accurately identify the problem. How do Democrats describe these countries?
Better yet, invite the press in and open it all up to America. DJT is at his best in front of a camera while these worms despise sunlight.
Do they NOT record everything the President says in those meetings and if so, play the damn recordings. Doing so will tell what/who is/are “fake news” and who is NOT. Get over it and put it to rest. We all know those countries ARE shitholes so lets move on.
At the very least Lyin Dick Durbin violated executive privilege, and should be punished
I’m OK if he did say chithole. But it doesn’t really seem like something you would say in a professional meeting. Especially with Dems sitting there.
I think Trump probably used the word. I find that regrettable in an official meeting. On a construction site, or in a locker room, that language would be tame.
My guess, though, is that Trump did not use it in the context as it has been described.
Overall, much ado about nothing.
I’d like to know what he said too.
It’s great the comment in question is being denied. That’s great.
So what DID he say? It’s a reasonable question to ask.
... Haiti ... Dominican Republic ... same island ... different results. I doubt many people want to leave DR ... and I doubt that anyone could call DR any-hole. Perhaps the focus should be on self-improvement rather than exodus to willing-countries.
