You are missing my point, giving amnesty for the 870,000 but not their illegal family members is never stated, which is why we need a fuller decision as the current discussion comes with them and separately is discussion about ending chain migration later for others that might come later. While number of DACA people are not increasing by much (70% reduction under Trump of illegals coming) the people being admitted LEGALLY are increasing EXPONENTIALLY. It is 60 times greater now, it will be 1000 times greater in just a few decades.

My point again is, we should spend many times more energy fighting CHAIN MIGRATION than fighting DACA. All those relatives of DACA people can’t become legal if chian migration is stopped by law.
