That is not what he said in the presser, unless he intends to include them as part of the undefined “border security.” If so, then he needs to make that clear.

The EPA is an Executive branch and work for the President. He can sign a waiver of any environmental regulations in the interests of national security.

Rush’s take is that Trump wanted to counter the Wolff trash book, 25th Amendment nonsense, with the optics of the meeting before the cameras with an open meeting with the Dembulbs, and that it had nothing to do with immigration or the wall.
If he said it, it must have been when I was in the john, because I missed it.
But, the proof is in the pudding. If those conditions are included in the bill than I am fine with that.

That one single meeting completely undermined the whole 25th ammemdment B.S. He looked like a very stable genuis in that meeting!

Everyone should watch it themelves. And consider why this was on television. Trump hammered the need to end chain migration. Even said while looking at fienstine that no one can not be in favor of ending this. Destroyed the guy who said we dont need a wall. It will be daca and security first or no deal. Bet the house on it
No idea what his plan is right now as he’s just pitching ideas. But I feel like he knows it will get rejected and then he’ll do what he really wants without their help.

Yes I agree. That meeting with Trump and congress members was fascinating and riveting.

I just ended my viewership at Breitbart News, over their continual slamming of the President over this issue, that they are obsessed with.
Here’s what I said to them:
“Obviously, the blabbermouth liar, Steve Bannon is still at the helm of this hit piece on the President, which means I will not, and neither will my family & friends, come to this website anymore.
Any decent person would say that they don’t want to have to build a wall of separation between themselves and others, so drop your CRAP twist of his words as though this man doesn’t believe in protecting our country.
And for the record, I just watched President Trump on live TV, showing a magnificent display of leadership in bringing both Democrats and Republicans together (without the heads of both parties) to come to a bipartisan agreement on immigration, WHICH IS HOW IT IS SUPPOSED TO BE DONE.
And every conservative I know, me included, FULLY support President Trump’s balanced approach on securing our border and giving those who came here through no fault of their own, who grew up here, and have lived an entire lifetime here, and who have not caused any problems for their neighbors, A PATH TO CITIZENSHIP.
So Breitbart News, you and Ann Coulter can continue to huddle together in a fetal position and blast our President and make enemies of his children, and pay your Benedict Arnold, Bannon to do so, BUT we conservatives don’t have to look at it.
Just know, you’re on the fringe right, just like the liberals have their fringe left, and you’re both going to be losers in the end.
Incidentally, my very conservative mother, who was blown away by the President’s SENSIBLE solutions and SENSATIONAL leadership in the immigration meeting a while ago, just told me to tell you, Breitbart News, to “GET OVER IT!”

This is being framed by Trump as the democrats advocating for, and beholden to, illegal aliens. That’s a loser hand, and Trump knows it.
