What’s the question??
Why was the federal judge in the case removed (not recused, removed)?
Digenova should be on the short list, along with Tom Fitton, and Jay Seculow to be this country’s next Attorney General. We need someone as AG who has a massive hard on for the internal corruption at the DOJ.
Ping
You asked “Whats the question??”
Good question. The only question I can find is “Whats the question??”
How hard would it be for any of those folks to get passed by the Senate?
Good stuff. Thanks.
Hannity should devote some time on his show to a Joe Degenova interview.
“Digenova” sounds like a mobster.
I just listened to the first 100 seconds of the interview. It is very good. He said the IG is going to find Comey is so dirty that he should be fired a second time; that Comey is going to be charged; and that Comey’s tweet last week was a pre-charges plea for leniency.
This is GOOD STUFF! I normally hate YouTube vids and audio interviews, but his is a solid exception. I take back the above snark about Digenova.
Ah, but would Sean allow Joe to get a word in edgewise?
“How hard would it be for any of those folks to get passed by the Senate?”
You have identified the singular problem we have in our government today, the US Senate. Just imagine what Trump could have accomplished in his first year without it. Advise and Consent has become Obfuscate and Delay. We have a body today where one single person can thwart the entire nation’s progress (i.e. Susan Collins or John McCain). I’d vote tomorrow to disband the US Senate and have only a “People’s House” as our legislature. When they amended the Constitution to change the method by which Senators were selected, it obviated the need for the Senate completely. If you ever need to increase your blood pressure, just watch this bucket of cocks take a vote on something. A process that should take a few minutes, takes hours. I guess the only thing that makes their “voting process” palatable today is that they never vote on anything anyway.
“Ah, but would Sean allow Joe to get a word in edgewise?”
No.
Very good post. The interview is exceptional.
Thanks for the post.
Who removes judges?
And I shudder to think, as bad as it was, how much worse Obama's first year would have been...
Yeah. I can’t tell you the number of times I’ve yelled at Hannity to shut up.
A guest starts making perfect sense, some new bit of info with a brilliant piece of logic to back it up and just as the the guest starts to put a bow on it.
Hannity’s “They sound smarter than me, it’s my show” tick kicks in.
“would Sean allow Joe to get a word in edgewise?”
He’s still not as bad as Lou Dobbs when it comes to filibustering the guests.
Anyhow, Sean should get Toensing and Degenova on together to discuss the current scandals. They were great together (I think it was) during the Lewinsky-Clinton thing. They must have an interesting marriage.
I really “love” Joe DiGenova. Spring before last (?) I’m guessing, back when the Hilly email stuff was in full swing, Judicial Watch had a panel - Tom Fitton, Chris Farrell, Peter Schweizer & Joe DiGenova were the panel members. Joe went last - he was listening to everything they were all saying & when it was time to talk, he called Comey a “dirty cop”. I thought Tom Fitton was going to faint & he’s not the fainting type! He asked Joe basically if he really meant that - Joe’s law practice requires him to deal with people who might not be so happy he said that - Joe doubled down & was VERY certain that calling Comey a ‘dirty cop’ was accurate. I tried to find Joe’s comments on the tape later & couldn’t, I think they were edited out.
Joe would be a fantastic Atty General, but he’d never get confirmed (IMO). Hilly would be packing her suitcases and running for the hills (or Argentina, as James Woods suggested after one of her inane tweets). Joe is married to Victoria Toensing, another top attorney who does a lot of work with intelligence issues - currently represents the FBI informant on the Uranium One case.

And one more interesting “tidbit” from Joe (if Joe is talking, I’m listening, plus he’s got good sources so I’m betting this is true!):

Sekulow would be impossible. He went through bankruptcy many years ago after being sued for fraud.
