The judge believed the New York District Court was the appropriate venue to hear Exxons case because a substantial part of the events or omissions giving rise to the claim occurred in New York City at an infamous March 29, 2016 press conference with Al Gore. The judge gave credence to Exxons concerns that the AG investigations were politically motivated, pointing to the AGs meeting with #ExxonKnew activists ahead of their press conference and noting the AGs many appearances in the media discussing the case.

Dear EXXON and the other Oil Companies,
Why in the HELL are you still doing Business in these States?? This is a huge Conflict of Interest and in order to protect yourself and the INVESTORS, you need to Immediately HALT all Sales of your products in these States that claim you are “poisoning and killing” them. Let them all freeze to death for their Global Warming religion.
Probably for many of the same reasons that Jim Robinson does with Free Republic
Agreed.

How did someone with a sardonic sense of humor end up on the federal bench?
just another example of justice system weaponized against the interests of the American public.
Its how the AG position has evolved and is used in NY State's one-party politics. AG harasses (and squeezes for big money) some progressive bogeyman, for the purpose of building one's media reputation, for next step to Governor. Spitzer did it, and Cuomo did it.
This judge’s decision and analysis of the AG’s of NY and Mass is extremely important because it could break the backs of a runaway megalomaniac Schneidermann and a Marxist Ms. Whoever (publicity hound).
DISCOVERY is the key to all this. However, I can hear the paper-shredders and “DELETE” keys in the AGs’ offices running all night long, like Lionel Ritchie.
Time for CONTEMPT OF COURT, JAIL and LOSS OF LAW LICENSES, FOR TWO.
