WASHINGTON - A jailed Russian who says he hacked into the Democratic National Committee computers on the Kremlin’s orders to steal emails released during the 2016 U.S. presidential election campaign now claims he left behind a data signature to prove his assertion.
In an interview with Russia’s RAIN television channel made public Wednesday, Konstantin Kozlovsky provided further details about what he said was a hacking operation led by the Russian intelligence agency known by its initials FSB. Among them, Kozlovsky said he worked with the FSB to develop computer viruses that were first tested on large, unsuspecting Russian companies, such as the oil giant Rosneft, later turning them loose on multinational corporations.
Kozlovsky first came to public attention in early December when word spread about his confession last Aug. 15 in a Russian courtroom that he was the person who hacked into DNC computers on behalf of Russian intelligence. The Russian was jailed earlier this year, alleged to have been part of a hacking group there that stole more than $50 million from Russian bank accounts through what’s called the Lurk computer virus.
The alleged hacker posted to his Facebook page in December a transcript and an audio recording of his confession during a pre-trial court hearing. He also confessed online to having hacked investigators looking into the crash of Malaysia Airlines Flight 17, brought down in July 2014 by a missile near the disputed Ukrainian border with Russia.

It was reportedly seen as a reward posted for turning in the person or persons behind the ‘hack’ which was actually a leak, an inside job. McCabe’s involvement was the authority of the FBI on the wanted poster. FBI HQ, that is.
Not many know that the FBI tohad become a global law enforcement body, especially following 9-11. There was also a ‘merging’ of CIA, FBI HQ. and State and Local law enforcement under the JTTF which was borne out of the Patriot Act.
McCabe was never regular FBI, he was a JTTF hustler, an unethical one at that.

Actually, the engineer freely admitted the speeds were possible to someone based on the east coast of the US. He was only indicating it wasn't possible for someone accessing it from Russia, which has been the supposed claim of Crowdstrike (the Ukranian-tied firm with an axe to grind with Russia, who was the only team allowed to review the server).
I disagree. The server has never been turned over to the FBI, but it has been in the hands of the dRats and their cronies ever since. Since there is proof that Hillary, the DNC, and the Russians have been colluding to destroy President Trump, any competent IT person could place that file there at any time and make it look like it came at the same time as the hack (even if there never was a hack).
His claim clearly seemed suspect, but you nailed the reasons why. And there were no telling how many hackers reading the DNC and clintonemail.com servers.

Russia did not fear Hillary. Russia did and does fear Trump. Russia would gladly let it be thought that rouge elements in Russia breached the DNC if it will bring down their enemy Donald Trump.
Hillary was totally compromised by the Clinton Foundations dealing with Russia Oligarchs that rained 185 million dollars on the Clinton Foundation. Russian Oligarchs are not charitable. If they give you 185 million dollars they are buying something. They would not do this without Putin's approval. Putin has a low tolerance for failure or deceit against him, if you do such it has a tendency to shorten your life most quickly.
They were buying Hillary Clinton whom they thought would be the next President of The United States. They chose poorly.

The question is why?
He probably did testify that. But his lawyer is probably a rat that told him the DOJ is handing out immunity like candy, but only if you testify against Trump, not the other way around.
If so, Russia deserves our thanks for exposing the crimes and dishonesty of the DNC.

Either way you cut it there is still no collusion with the Trump campaign.

The problem with that is that the only people who had access to that information was our friendly DNC contractor "Crowdstrike". And they never noticed, if it is really there.
