Jailed Russian says he hacked DNC on Kremlin’s orders and can prove it

WASHINGTON - A jailed Russian who says he hacked into the Democratic National Committee computers on the Kremlin’s orders to steal emails released during the 2016 U.S. presidential election campaign now claims he left behind a data signature to prove his assertion.

In an interview with Russia’s RAIN television channel made public Wednesday, Konstantin Kozlovsky provided further details about what he said was a hacking operation led by the Russian intelligence agency known by its initials FSB. Among them, Kozlovsky said he worked with the FSB to develop computer viruses that were first tested on large, unsuspecting Russian companies, such as the oil giant Rosneft, later turning them loose on multinational corporations.

Kozlovsky first came to public attention in early December when word spread about his confession last Aug. 15 in a Russian courtroom that he was the person who hacked into DNC computers on behalf of Russian intelligence. The Russian was jailed earlier this year, alleged to have been part of a hacking group there that stole more than $50 million from Russian bank accounts through what’s called the Lurk computer virus.

The alleged hacker posted to his Facebook page in December a transcript and an audio recording of his confession during a pre-trial court hearing. He also confessed online to having hacked investigators looking into the crash of Malaysia Airlines Flight 17, brought down in July 2014 by a missile near the disputed Ukrainian border with Russia.

In written answers from jail made public Wednesday by RAIN TV, a Moscow-based independent TV station that has repeatedly run afoul of the Kremlin...snip

....snip

He placed a string of numbers that are his Russian passport number and the number of his visa to visit the Caribbean island of St. Martin in a hidden .dat file, which is a generic data file.

” now they are making some guy “cough up” information Hillary’s people know were in the server to legitimize the dossier cr@p.”

The dossier is entirely unrelated and this, and even if true, in no way substantiates it.

I thought some expert already said that the data rate was too fast to have gone through the web. That it had to be someone directly downloading it from a DNC computer. Someone like Seth Rich perhaps.

How did he achieve download speeds that experts say could only have been an inside job?

And when the CIA and NSA specifically have the tools to plant fake “fingerprints” of the FSB - and have shown willingness to commit crimes to try to frame Trump, and Hillary was being bribed by the Russians so they had reasons to work as a team with Hillary..... there are a lot of reasons to suspect that this guy is just doing what his US deep state masters told him to do.

At this point the deep state needs to come eyeball to eyeball with “fruit of the poisonous tree”. Once your credibility is known to be compromised you may as well not exist, because nobody in their right mind would ever believe you again.

They need to learn that RIGHT NOW.

Sense the FBI and other official law enforcement agencies were not allowed to check the computer anything that was on the server would be suspect or gone.

JOHN McAFEE

Asked if Russia hacked #Election2016:

“If it looks like the Russians did it

Then I can GUARANTEE you

It WASN’T the Russians”

Total BS disinformation intended to give credibility to Mueller's investigation and the left's assertion the Russians hacked the DNC.

Seth Rich can tell you who hacked the DNC servers. Oh wait, he's DEAD.

If McCabe is using $3 million of my taxpayer dollars to try to BRIBE somebody in order to commit TREASON, then I and every other taxpayer should be able to sue the guy for RICO, and when that is won the guy should spend the rest of his life in Gitmo.

This needs to be resolved BEFORE the guy has a chance to “retire” and get a big fat pension that he steals from his victims.

The stench of this guy and all his minions stinks to high heaven, and I hope the Lord rains down sulfur on all these depraved people who serve the Father of Lies.

Trying to switch attention from Seth Rich.

I read somewhere that the data stamps show the data was loaded to a high speed thumb drive.

But if this guy’s prison confession sticks, there is no need to look into Rich’s death at all.

The yarn about 23MB/sec being too fast for download over the internet is utter BS. The so-called expert is full of it.

23MB is EASILY achievable with a standard business-class 1gbs internet access circuit and a relatively modern email server.

Even double that rate would be typical.

It wouldn’t affect the election.

But it might have given Putin valuable blackmail-worthy info, that he could have used as leverage on Broom Hilda if she’d been elected.

It’s irrelevant. If anything the Hacker worked with the two Pakis who worked for DWS. That makes more sense since they would have given the hacker all the IP addresses and information.

What is the top possible speed?
Somewhere around 16 megabytes per second. According to Skip Folden, a former IBM program manager and independent analyst, 22.7 megabytes per second is beyond unlikely under the circumstances–unless you’re downloading the files directly using a storage device like a USB drive.

Assange isn’t lying and he’s been consistent about his communications on the emails.

By the by, there’s word he may drop another bomb of emails right on that stinking’ witches head. (The one Trump smoked in the election.)
