A flight that was four hours into its course, bound for Tokyo's Narita Airport Tuesday, had to return to its origin of Los Angeles International Airport after an 'unauthorized person' was on-board.

The flight from LAX to Tokyo is about 12 hours long. The total time for the flight to take off and return was just over eight hours.

The nightmare journey did not end once the plane landed. The model shared that all of the passengers would be interviewed by police for 20 minutes before they could deplane.

However, well after passengers exited the flight, Teigen was tweeting she was sequestered in a room. It was unclear if other passengers were with her.

Seems like more going on here than someone getting on the wrong plane.
- No info on who this person was who got on the wrong flight. No name. Nothing.
- How did their boarding pass allow them on? Is the boarding pas scanner really so utterly useless it doesn’t even check the flight number, or id the person have a faked boarding pass?
- How did it take 4 hours to notice the person was on the wrong flight? The first thing that happens, usually, before pulling away from the boarding gate, is the captain will announce the flight and destination.

I haven’t flown in many years. There used to be a flight attendant to greet you, check your ticket, and direct you to your seat. Nobody got past them without their ticket being verified. Do they not do that anymore?

“My guess is this
happens all the time. We just don’t hear about it.”

Even if ‘The System’ is 99.99% perfect, that 0.01% still leaves room for a large number of errors.

“2,587,000 passengers fly every day in and out of U.S. airports.

26,527 average daily scheduled passenger flights.

9,709,000 scheduled passenger flights in 2016.”

:: Perhaps somebody high profile trying to flee the country? ::

My thought, too.

The flight attendant noticed an ankle-bracelet and made a few state side inquiries?

Great circles are deceiving. Its closer to Narita from LAX or SFO than it is to Guam, maybe even Hawaii. They were closer to the Aleutian Island Chain than anything else.

Could it be the woman who was married to the Vegas shooter? I think she came to the US for questioning via Japan.

Depending on the route it took one might think they’d land in Seattle,Anchorage or Honolulu.

There’s a report of an Hawaii-bound flight turned around now

Maybe these mystery passengers are the "defendants" in some of the sealed indictments?

Strange segment on FNC about this. Both anchor and reporter steering away from WHY the plane turned around, focusing on how the PNG was allowed to board. A little throwdown on something the anchor IMAGINED the reporter said, ‘Giselle’, which he didn’t.

All transpacific flights fly that way. Same with transatlantic. The trans Atlantic flights go over Ireland, Iceland , Greenland, Newfoundland, Nova Scotia and then down the Maine coast before they head inland.

I see them flying over New Hampshire all the time on their way to New York, Chicago , etc. That way they are never more than a hour away from a potential emergency landing site. If you recall on 9/11 there were many transatlantic flights that landed and spent a couple days in Newfoundland when Bush grounded all the flights.

People need to follow qanon

I've been trying to figure out how to do that. Not being extremely tech savvy, any suggestions?

The GC route would take the plane well away from (north of) Hawaii

This could be material witnesses in the Fat Leonard case which reportedly has hundreds of sealed indictments. Maybe they were running to the Chinese consulate in Tokyo?

Starting to lean that it was Japan who told them turn around, no room at the inn for you.

If that’s the case, it would happen routinely.
