Same here!

Remember when Freepers were searching for our next President Reagan?

Although I think President Trump is WAY BETTER.

President Trump has cut taxes massively, cut out regulations (22 to 1), killed the TPP, killed the Paris Climate Accord, currently renegotiating NAFTA and GATT, appointed a Conservative to the Supreme Court, strengthening the military, killing political correctness, goes after fake stream news, brought God and Jesus Christ back into the White House and back to Washington D.C. to make America Great Again.

That’s to name a few things I can think of right off hand. Remember President Trump could have easily rode off into the sunset with his Billions of dollars. Instead the man puts everything on the line to save our Republic. AMAZING!!!

I don’t know about you, but I think we have George Washington 2.0 and a reboot of our Republic.

I am so thankful for President Trump. Thank God, and pray for President Trump and his family. We have to get this right this time. No more going back to the recent past political nonsense.

You are 100% correct.

I think God gave the USA one last chance, and Trump is it.

God bless him and God bless America.

I’m not American, I’m Albertan, but I’m praying for your leader too, and you folks need to do the same and be prepared to back up prayers with action.

He has benefitted our province too. With Trudeau and Notley trying to destroy us, his actions have breathed some life into our industries. Whenever I see Americans, I thank them for Trump. I’ve had a few say that they hate him etc, but I just tell them they’re not Americans, remove yourself from my province, preferably to China.

Thanks again for this man, I had my doubts originally, but I’m so grateful for you real Americans. God bless you all.

As a fellow Canadian I fully agree with your sentiments. The contrast between President Trump and our crying, leftist, Muslim appeasing girly-man Prime Minister couldn’t be more stark.

Shouldn't be based on the Jerusalem resolution, but the US should certainly be considering things like UN voting record in the nature of our relations, and distribution of aid. We should also review the effectiveness of our aid, since most countries receiving development aid, over the long term don't seem to develop.

I was just hoping he’d put good supreme court justices in place. I never expected home run after home run.

I remember when it hit me a couple months before primary that I was voting for him. The only guy who was not full of bs! The only one I knew would actually fight and win against the media, which I see as our greatest domestic enemy. Simple mesage we could get behind.

President Donald Trump threatened Wednesday to cut off U.S. funding to countries that support a resolution criticizing his decision to recognize Jerusalem as Israel’s capital.

This sentence is so illustrative.

1) UN supports a worthless resolution with no teeth (because it has none.)

2) Four types of reactions to UN resolutions:
a) Evil dictators and groups: "LOL. We'll just continue what we've doing."
b) Obama and kin: *groveling and prostration to consciously further diminish U.S. standing*
c) Every other President and U.S. leader with any potential influence over the years: "Oh, that U.N. We can just ignore them. Or we can use these resolutions to make a weak-kneed case to criticize the U.N. back."
d) Trump, businessman: "You just straight up told me that we have irreconcilable differences. How can I keep you around now knowing that? You've got to go."

The coup-de-grace would be that Trump kicks the UN out of the US and Trump corporation buys the property and puts up a huge brand spanking new Trump Tower.

From what I recall reading over the years, the UN buildings are in a sorry state structurally.  They've asked for tons of money over the years to fix them.  I would not at all be surprised if they violate countless national, state, and local statutes.  They would almost certainly need to be razed.

And that's where I'd stop.  Leave the demolition debris where it is, wall it off, and forbid any sort of development plans for the site.  Let it stand in ruins as a permanent visual representation of the effectiveness of the U.N.
