The federal government’s former ethics czar says he is “stocking up” on “gear” in order to “take the streets” in the event that President Trump removes Robert Mueller as special counsel.
“I’m concerned the assault on the rule of law is coming over the holidays when we’re distracted. It‘ll be a defining moment for the Republic,” Walter Shaub wrote on Twitter on Friday.

It’s mind-blowing. Did they really think no one would ever find out, or are they SO arrogant that they think it just doesn’t matter, and the spineless Congress / Attorney General will do absolutely nothing to them simply because they don’t want to face what’s happening here?
I think the “Trump is going to fire Mueller!” RAT talking points are ANOTHER form of insulation - spread that story far and wide, make the Administration deny it, and then the Administration can’t come back and fire him without looking like they lied about it.
