(CNN)Sources in the Senate tell CNN they have been worried about Sen. John McCain recently, following a week when the Arizona Republican was kept from the Senate to address side effects from his brain cancer treatment.
The sources described McCain as looking increasingly frail and said he has not spoken up in recent GOP meetings the way he had before, in addition to his absence this week for treatment at Walter Reed Medical Center.

“What I would like to say about McCain I wont because I dont want to be banned for life from Free Republic...”
You win post of the day!
I thought the he gets whatever the congresscritters get and it is definitely a step above Obamacare which the rest of us peasants are stuck with. Our ruling class has better insurance.
My premium this next year will be 18% of my gross income. It is bankrupting me and McCain had a hand in my pain.
“Then dont wish for his recovery or else he wont.”
I’m really tempted to wish him a long, glorious, enjoyable life with many more years in the Senate. He’s rejected everything I’ve wanted so completely for 20+ years that such a wish ought to result in his suicide.
I hate all this melodrama. It sounds like he’s too sick to vote, why can’t he do the right thing and resign?
Never mind, I know the answer to my own question......
I agree, I mean this in the kindest way (Okay not even I believe that), the best News Year's gift McCain could give Conservatives is his funeral.
1. Johnnywetstart shot down more american sailors and pilots than any North Vietnamese ace.
2. As the infamous songbird, McCain managed to entertain the denizens of Hanoi Hilton with fantastic stories of fictional American brutality.
3. McCain managed to turn America over to an Islamo Bolshevik in 2008 ("I'm suspending my campaign").
4. Managed to smear real patriots such as Michelle Bachmann, when she tried to warn about Muslim Brotherhoiod infiltration in the White Hut.
5. Managed to rise from the dead to vote against those wascally republicans again regarding healthcare.
6. constantly bored us with his John Kerry like repetition that he served in Vietnam (both sides it appears).
The Senate and America leave behind a unique person if ever there was one.
Martha McSally is a female version of Jeff Flake.
McCain helped screw up my husbands and my healthcare. I have more important things to worry about than McCains health.
I have not seen that there was a second tumor. Can’t find it.
If he is in the hospital it is bad. He is probably suffering seizures, confusion, paralysis, swelling.....that is why they go to the hospital when the treatment fails. It is down hill time. If he were home on hospice then he would be receiving seizure meds, predisone, and morphine.
“Im sorry, but let the rat die.”
Seems the only way to remove him from office.
Found it! Strange it wasn’t much publicised.
Prayers for he and his family at Christmas despite his rino status.
"Be careful what you wish for", they say.
I'm afraid the day is upon him. Once he starts weakening, he will decline rapidly
He is not long for this world.
May he go peaceably when he does.
He should be buried with full military honors in Vietnam.
Not a fan of McSally.
He has a disease for which there is no cure - exactly what the doctor’s told us two weeks before my mother died. Different type of cancer, but still.
Thanks for your quick reply. I searched and found the link. Here it is:

I’ve just posted it. Notable how CNN omitted that vital fact from its article.
Actually, McCain called HIS WIFE a c**t!! There were several witnessses. He also told Cindy she caked on makeup “like a whore” in the same sentence. He went berserk when Cindy gently teased him that his hair was starting to thin out.
I have no doubt that McCain bullied and verbally abused Cindy behind closed doors. He has a long history in the Senate for having a filthy mouth and a bad temper.
This is the scumbag that kept my medical insurance deductible at $6,800.
He’ll live long enough to raise my taxes though, no doubt about that.
