They realized middle school was too late so focused on elementary school. It seems to be working. And it’s not just public schools.

This is the first time I’ve ever seen the parents ‘chime’ in, and I fully understand wanting to oversee a son as he makes a foray into expressing himself here.
Some of the posts here were quite intolerant of a young person, given that he told us his age, apologized in advance in the event that his post was provocative, and has been very polite throughout.

The problem is we can’t close the schools. It’s never gonna happen. We have to be in the schools to change them. We abdicated them and this is what we are left with. It’s not just the public schools, it’s Catholic and Private too. It’s the whole system. For example, Common Core is still standard but it’s just called something else now. Most people/parents have no clue.
It’s very anti-American.
In the long run, of course. But, I’m practical and live in the now. I leave to God what God will do.

Please let me know if either of you are actually from Alabama. I have 3 conservative teens + ( under 25) and know some of their friends well. None of them voted for Dougie Jones due to shit on a stit homosexual rights. None. It’s economics that rule the vote. If the kid can make a thread, he can deal with the replies without daddy and mommy chiming in. When the latter happens, all bets are off.
If the poster is a real teen, which I doubt, he could handle it without daddy chiming in. Daddy chiming in does him no favors.
Intolerant or on to the bullshit?
So this thread started out innocently-seeming enough, but now we have a “teen” suggesting we should embrace homosexuality and then many posts later adding that we should accept illegal immigration or we’ll lose future elections.
I offered an answer in good faith hours ago. I’m now turned off this poster, something not smelling right at all to me.
