My thoughts on the election from a teen...
Good point! I think it’s because the media, education, promote that and also promotes that the opposition wants to kill them.
I don’t know anyone who supports democrats solely because they support the homosexual agenda (other than those who are homosexual themselves or have family that convinced them it’s the only issue). We have these conversations with our adult kids. They care about the “environment” as one of my daughter’s told me recently. I said, yeah so do we, so does the Faith you were raised in, are you willing to give more of your paycheck to cover that? When my two oldest complain about their taxes, their medical benefits and what they pay for them, I remind them how many get subsidized by their contributions.
I’m fortunate that all my kids are politically republicans/conservatives and practice the faith they were raised in but there are issues they just don’t care about.
We live in very easy times in some respect.
Heh. You’re a silly moron. Keep entertaining me. I lean more Libertarian so KMA :)
He hasn’t been in school since he was 8. We homeschool him and his siblings. We have a gay nephew and I have gay friends. Do I care about their lifestyle? I will let God decide.
Well said.
She/he shouldn’t ever be so condescending regardless of that.
Let him/her deal with this on his own. You butting in isn’t helping him here. Helicopter parent? Either the kid can handle posting here or he can’t.
Good post.
I think you and your spouse are awesome for exposing conservateen to FR. Many of us here slam the libertarianism that you and conservateen are espousing, so it’s great that you are exposing conservateen to this test. Conservateen sure ain’t gonna learn or grow stronger by speaking with the libs because they won’t challenge him (her?) intellectually or spiritually.
One quibble about how you want the conservatives to surrender their principles in order to win da yoots. Heidegger did that same thing in the runup to Nazi Germany. They promoted the yoots and their barbaric emotionalism above the wisdom that came before them. It’s a self-destructive formula for a society, so consider it with an open mind.
Agree with that...
It may be his first thread but not first posting and you should shut up if you want ConservaTeen to be taken seriously because right now I want to smack you because you are now spouting nonsense.
We need to attack the antiTrump RINOs in the primary season. We got to be united against the UniParty...let’s not give up on 2018.
You shutting up about your kid’s post would be helpful but since you won’t, let the fun begin.
True, but having daddy chime in to correct us all is not doing him any favors. I’ll ignore any of his postings now since I know the parent will chime in.
As always, your post is spot on and is the reason I enjoy reading your posts.
Hmmm, not a Libertarian viewpoint.
I thought my enlightened youthful insight should be noticed. That was literally at the height of the Cold War. Anyway, I learned I didn’t know as much as I thought I did. Repeating mistakes are expensive. Time and money. Making some assumption, I have teens that are your age it slightly older and do not see many reasons to moderate my or conservative principles in order to let them catch up.
Homosexuals = costly health care (physical and mental)
New families = same (out of marriage kids)
Student loans = real full costs on those not involved in your next 30 years of earnings not kicking kids down the road 10-15 years. And if you didn’t wait a divorce due to streatched out financial outlook that hangs like a condemned murderer over your early marriage like a flag over a coffin.
Drugs = same
Healthcare = expensive for good life saving care (think cancer that only top 10% of countries beat, yeah that has a cost that only stable productive countries can provide) when conservative teen is conservativeteen is only conservative younger kid and the difference than being a middle class conservative teen and a welfare rat is a dad that is still working and providing.
I can go on and on. Pick a subject. It’s not ignorance it’s experiences. That comes with age. I expect to earn more knowledge over the next years as god decides how much we ear and how much I have left to earn.
Politics (I love politics) is insignificant compared to real world stuff and liberty, true libert, requires true life conservative life not political life. Hope that makes sense.
God bless and never compromise in your individual morals.
....
Btw. Your not from Alabama so really it’s non of your business.
So not against illegal immigration? Or only if it’s Mexicans?Or just anyone but Cubans? Cubans can immigrate ILLEGALLY?
Shut up.
