Alabama votes on Tuesday in a special election to fill the Senate seat vacated by Jeff Sessions, now the attorney general. The last polls close at 8 p.m. Eastern. Strong support for Roy S. Moore, the Republican, is expected in rural, mostly white parts of the state and in its northern half. The Democrat, Doug Jones, aims to create a lead in the urban counties that include Birmingham and Montgomery, and across a band of largely black counties.
One critical battleground is a trio of smaller, whiter cities: Mobile, Tuscaloosa and Huntsville. Mr. Moore won a hard race in 2012 by keeping things close there. Mr. Jones hopes to win the cities by a convincing margin.

I like dreamin’.
I think President Trump should just leave the Republican Party now and go independent as many here have already done.
I would investigate that county. They pulled a Florida and waited last minute and made up the votes for Jones.
weren’t dems advertising for voters from other states to come in? they also hurried up to register convicts.
True. Despite the dnc being at a severe disadvantage to the rnc moneywise, the money that flooded Alabama for jones came from other sources.
Also, the rnc and the senate pubbies didn’t support Moore financially.
So this ‘bama election in no way can represent what will happen in 2018. More money will flow to the gop candidates than to the dim candidates. With the hits that soros took in his market shorts while the global markets are booming, he won’t have as much dirty money to throw around.
Again, as was mentioned in the post to which I had replied, the dems will defend over 20 vulnerable senate seats to the GOP’s 9 in 2018.
Their alinsky methods against the lone solitary Moore won’t be able to help them in 2018.
Sorry, but when the last county reported then Moore went for the dunk. It took forever for that country to report. I wonder why?
You know...I had typed I will bet you $20 when you made your offer because it seemed really clear to me by then the rat cities were still out but then FR froze and I didnt go back and repost it. Wish I had. You sure got quite.
I deeply apologize to the patriots across the rest of the country for my state tonight. We had one job and failed.
Sorry.
No, YOU certainly have nothing to apologize for, FRiend! You did the right thing. I always liked Senator Sessions... However, I don't understand what has happened to him since he became AG.
LOL, I have far more to apologize for being a resident of The People's Republik of Connecticut! Look at our sorry-ass commie Senators and five insane Congress critters. They are the WORST. My husband and I (and conservative friends and relatives) *always* vote, but we are far outnumbered here by leftists.
Someday... we are outta here. I'm praying the South stays conservative. It's our only hope.
Those who think they will “ feel better” to write in a candidate are only fooling themselves.
Shame on them all....
It does stink. My house had to votes for Moore, but I saw something in my voting place that concerned me. I make a habit of glancing at the vote count. We only have two scanners. The vote count wasn’t impressive, but I noticed a steady stream of minority voters while I was there.
Not typical of my polling place.
Those machines should be checked in that county. Thousands of votes in a few county last minute sends up a huge red flag. This election was stolen.
COUNTED SO FAR: 98% (2,195 of 2,220 precincts) ROY MOORE 635,076 48.8% DOUG JONES 643,626 49.5%
geez. Two votes.
Fraud. Dems made up the votes in the last hour. Those machines need to be checked.
I noticed the same in 2008 and 2012. Not typical in my town. And... the rest is history. :-(
Is this it according to that website?

Agreed.
They are conservatives in CT (Kathie Lee Gifford)
Gifford should be careful with her Christian talk on NBC in the mornings, or else she’ll be forced out.
Christian views are being forced out in today’s America.
Thanks. I knew I somehow wasn’t right.
Didn’t I read the Alabama Supreme Court stopped the ability to do a recount for some unknown reason this morning?
