she believes the new administration has abandoned human rights as a priority Good.
That's not what I want the State Dept to prioritize.

Rising star BS. She was just in the FS for 7 years. A junior officer.

Hopefully, thousands of liberals in the State department will leave and write letters of why they hate our president and our country.
The state department may be in a worse condition than our worthless FBI/DOJ.

Excellent! Now if we could just get every leftist flunky to resign from the FBI, DOJ and all of the other useless agencies of the federal government.

Having worked with these prima donnas in several US embassies overseas, this brings me great joy. I hope Tillerson has a strategy to fill the ranks with conservatives.
Did anyone else catch the priority of the State Department is to advance human rights?

Thank You, Lord!

The one thing that came out loud and clear in the new book,
Let Trump Be Trump (Lewandowski and Bossie), was that Trump, unlike any other recent president, is completely performance/objective driven. If a person stops performing, they're out immediately.
That and he is tough as nails.
And he does indeed get mad as hell when anyone let's him down.
This country is on the verge of being COMPLETELY transformed into what was promise by Trump during the election.

A supposed "rising star" at the State Department has resigned in anger...Well, I suppose it's a start anyways. Perhaps for Christmas we could see a stampede of angry "rising stars" leaving State. Is that too much to hope for?

I guess they were brought on one-at-a-time, so maybe they can leave that way, too. Rising star, pfffffffft-fizzle!
It will take some time, though; maybe enough like Shackleford though and an avalanche may follow?
