As a queer femme of color, I keep close relationships with people who go beyond allyship; theyre true accomplices in the fight against white supremacy, queerphobia, and misogyny. If youre not going to support marginalized folks, then we cant be friends, let alone date. The personal is political.
Beyond the lovely cushioning, happiness and support that we receive from our platonic relationships (which are, in all honesty, soul-feeding and essential), feminists also date! But there are questions we have to ask before we get close to someone.
The following list of questions is applicable to all relationships certainly not just cisgender, heterosexual ones:

She talks like a modern slave.
College made her a tuition debt slave. She recieved the ability to mumble.
Wow, there is a whole lot of emptiness and a bitterness in those eyes.
Good. Let them be so fussy that they don’t get dates. I have seen too many conservative fellows stifled and muzzled by liberal lasses who are “easy”.
Intersectional feminists should stand around in busy intersections.
A Lesbian at a crossroads or in a Quandary.
Lost me right here.
Honestly, if I was asked these questions, they'd not get to #11. I'd be out the door by #2 or #3....and only that long out of a "watching a trainwreck" type curiosity.
Seems like she mentioned she was raised in Switzerland, not the good old USA. So she admits she believes in the European utopian form of thought. Okeydokey she can pack up and head back to her dream land while the rest of us enjoy prosperity and the ability to be the best we can under our own power without help from some oppressive government telling us what we need and can get.
It’s projection is what it is, you gave yourself a troll badge to harass posters with, good job.
She lost me at “As”.
Nothing good comes from a sentence that starts with “As”.
That’s Raciss, Just Sayin’
Correction, with respect....
Liberals make Muslims look positively progressive, particularly with regards to freedom of speech and association.
A fully liberal society - places like SF and Baltimore are getting close - is nearer to 3rd world standards, than to the rest of the US.
2. What are your thoughts on gender and sexual orientation? I like them straight and sexy.
3. How do you work to dismantle sexism and misogyny in your life? I don't.
4. What are your thoughts on sex work? It's great if you can find it.
5. Are you a supporter of the BDS movement? If BDS means beer, drugs and sex, then I'm all for it.
6. What is your understanding of settler colonialism and indigenous rights? Huh?
7. Do you think capitalism is exploitative? Yes, businesses exploit their resources to produce goods and services for the consumer.
8. Can any human be illegal? Not just any human. Only those that break the law.
9. Do you support Muslim Americans and non-Muslim people from Islamic countries? Only if they assimilate into American culture and don't bring their sharia law with them.
10. Does your allyship include disabled folks? "Allyship"? Is that some kind of flying saucer?
Okay, that was easy. So did I get the date? :-)
This reminds me of the story about the gold miner who wrote back east to Sears & Roebucks asking for a mail order bride to be sent to him out west. He included a long list a characteristics he wanted his bride to have.
Well, he waited and he waited but still no bride.
So he writes again asking when his mail order bride will arrive. Soon he receives a reply.
"Sir, regrettably, we are sadden to inform you that such a woman with your required lengthy list of traits, does not exist."
Course I remember another headline they used that went something like “Negroes: Everybody Hates’em” though I don’t see how they ever got away with that.
“queer femme of color”.....is that something that is the product of vomiting a wide assortment of food?
Don’t worry, she’s not talking about dating guys. Which is convenient, since no man would ever date an “intersectional feminist”. By the time they come to terms with the fact that no guy will ever want them, fat and lez is all that’s left.
I know, I should STAY IN MY LANE
Sounds like one of the latest virtue signaling phrases. Possible typical use is by a self hating SJW claiming that they have no right to an opinion on a subject due to their “privilege”. Further cultural Marxist corruption of the language.
Wacko.
Wacko.
Wacko.
Mrs Wbill dragged me to a liberal function a couple of years ago. Everyone there worked in government, or academia. Buncha twits. Every conversation started with "Now, what do YOU do for a living...."
I thought that it less that they were interested in what I did, and more because they wanted to brag about what they did - "Yep. I'm the 2nd Assistant Director to the Vice Chair of the Academic Planning Committee. But, Obama Willing, I'll be Director next year...."
Mentioned this to my Dad. He thought that my premise was entirely possible, but it was more likely that they just wanted to pigeonhole me into the correct box. IE, "As a ____ ____ ____ ____" and fill in the blanks.
I suppose that we both could be right.
"Allyship is not an identityit is a lifelong process of building relationships based on trust, consistency, and accountability with marginalized individuals and/or groups of people. Allyship is not self-definedour work and our efforts must be recognized by the people we seek to ally ourselves with."
That should clear up your confusion.
