The EU's diplomatic chief Monday bluntly rejected Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's suggestion that Europe would follow the US in recognising Jerusalem as the Jewish state's capital, saying there would be no change to its stance on the holy city.
Netanyahu said the controversial announcement by US President Donald Trump -- which prompted diplomatic alarm and street protests across the Islamic world -- had "put facts squarely on the table".
As he arrived for talks in Brussels, Netanyahu said he expected "all or most" European countries would follow the US -- but the 28-nation bloc's foreign policy head Federica Mogherini gave him a stern rebuff, telling him to "keep his expectations for others".

Those of us that support Trump finally acting on the 20 plus year old Congressional approval of the Embassy move to Jerusalem should boycott EU country’s that continue not to
recognize the fact that Jerusalem for many centuries has been Jewish Home land.
They should pay a price for their continued Jew hatred.
Every EU country has gotten to know Islamic terrorism that Israel lives with daily. They pretend its the religion of peace. Lets send them a message, no vacations in non supportive EU countries. Buy a CZ P10c pistol, a great gun from a great country.

For years the EU and others have given the PLO the false hope that Jerusalem was on the table as a bargaining chip in the final peace accords. The PLO then made that one of their red lines and believed if they held out long enough they could prevail.
It was always a lie, Israel was never going to give up their ancestral capital and everyone knows it.
Trump simply clarified the truth.
