Democrat Doug Jones holds a 10-point lead over Republican Roy Moore among likely voters in deep red Alabama.
Greater party loyalty plus higher interest in the election among Democrats combined with more enthusiasm among Jones supporters gives him the advantage in the race to fill the U.S. Senate seat previously held by U.S. Attorney General Jeff Sessions.
Thats according to a Fox News Poll of Alabama voters conducted Thursday through Sunday using traditional polling techniques, including a list-based probability sample with both landlines and cellphones.
Jones receives 50 percent to Moores 40 percent, with 1-in-10 undecided (8 percent) or supporting another candidate (2 percent) -- which could make a difference Tuesday. Thats even truer with such an unconventional election with unconventional candidates.

You seem irritated that I pointed out the fact that Reagan did get caught lying.
Lie, mistake, misinformed, untruthful, not straight forward, etc, etc, etc. Call it whatever you want to call it.
I'm just saying, politicians by nature, lie to do their jobs. All human beings do to some degree.
If your wife asked you if her rear end looked big in the dress she was wearing, are you going to say yes? Or tell a little white lie, which harms no one and maintains marital harmony?
The world is not as black and white as you want to make it out to be. There is a lot of gray going on.
See post #207 of this thread.
Sorry, not buying what you are selling.
This isn’t a matter of thinking things are black and white. I simply do not believe that you have to be a liar to be a politician.
If you wish to claim every politician is a liar, be my guest.
As for the white lie we tell to keep from hurting our spouses feelings, give me a break.
Isolated incidence. There is no more pattern there than there is with religion for the occasional “lone wolf” terrorist.
Who did they poll?
This sounds false.
So start naming names. What politicians don't lie? Name some. And provide proof. Because, otherwise, it's just your subjective judgement.
You've made your point already. And my point, is that politicians lie by the nature of the job. There's a reason politicians and congress poll the lowest of anybody in the country.
But I don't have time to play games. So bye.
Thanks for the parting shot.
Take care.
You too. :-)
My post wasn’t a parting shot.
Nice try though.
You wrote, "Take care."
I replied , "You too."
You are right.
I came back and it seemed you were addressing my comment about the parting shot, “you too” wink.
You are right to call me on it, and I apologize.
Thanks for taking me to task so I would.
Fair enough.
Thanks.
