Evan McMullin doesnt want you to know who his donors are.
The failed Never Trump presidential candidate has stayed in the public eye as a sort of attack dog against President Trump and other Republicans, while keeping secret the names of the donors paying him to do so.
McMullins recently founded non-profit organization, Stand Up Republic, jumped into the Alabama Senate race this week with a $500,000 ad buy against Republican Senate candidate Roy Moore. One of the ads features a man saying Roy Moore makes Republicans and us Christians look bad.

The Pills Uruguay Dough Boy....what a joke
McMullin is a McMeathead. He’s never done anything to merit him being on the national stage. Someone needs to make him aware of it.
Useful idiot of the Cheap Labor Express.
McMuffin is a clown.... cousin to Ronald McDonald??
Well paid propagandist
He’s Romney’s Andrew McCabe or Peter Strzock within the FBI/CIA/NSA swamp. A very useful operative for Romney who will be used in the same way as Hillary’s more numerous operatives.
What is it about Mormons that they attack conservatives??
McCabe, McMullin, McCain...just McCoincidence I suppose
What is it about Mormons that call themselves Christians as in “... us Christians look bad”?
They aint “secret” anymore.

What is it about Mormons that call themselves Christians as in ... us Christians look bad?
They were the frontmen for the Mob early on in Las Vegas .... all about the money
Where does the article mention Silicon Valley?
I thought I might find it was Google or something. Probably Romney and McCain instead.
“McMullins recently founded non-profit organization, Stand Up Republic, jumped into the Alabama Senate race this week with a $500,000 ad buy”
if true, that’s blatantly illegal, otherwise ignorant “reporting” ...
That is a very astute observation.
In general my experience is that Mormon conservatism is more in tune with Bush Family conservatism. That is to say "conservatism" is a useful tool to the service of Mammon; And pursuit of Mammon is something which is ingrained in Mormon culture.
This would be quite the opposite of Judge Roy Moore conservatism, or Steve Bannon conservatism which is based on the sacredness of the Constitution rather than the "sacredness" of Mammon.
This explains why Mormon politicians, like their Bush family cousins, routinely sacrifice American sovereignty in the name of money — new world order, open borders, export of American jobs, NAFTA, TPP, etc. Essentially, in their view, pursuit of wealth trumps borders, language, and culture, and even trumps our beloved Constitution.
Wonder if McMullin’s donors were these guys:

Reid Hoffman greatly increased his financial contributions to artificial intelligence research group OpenAI, The Daily Caller News Foundation has learned. The group recently developed software allowing people with the know-how to craft so-called deepfake news articles, The Guardian reported....

Hoffman-financed groups New Knowledge (NK) and American Engagement Technologies (AET) allegedly used social media in 2017 to undermine support for Republican Roy Moores senatorial campaign and boosted his opponent, Democrat Doug Jones, who narrowly won the race. Jones has since publicly called for an investigation into the caper.
Operatives involved in the ploy created thousands of Twitter accounts posing as Russian bots in order to boost Jones....
