On Saturday, Army and Navy will face off on the football field for the 118th time.
As has become the norm in recent years, both academies will wear special uniforms for the game.
Nike (Army) and Under Armour (Navy) unveiled this year's uniforms and they do not disappoint. Take a closer look below.
--snip-- The uniforms for the West Point cadets are designed to honor the 10th Mountain Division, an elite group that fought the Nazis in the Alps of Northern Italy.

We went last year. It was an amazing spectacle.
And even Navy guys were a little choked to see how delirious the Army guys were after pulling out a win after all those years....
Here are just a couple of (the many!) pics, from your link....
Army:
Navy:
I think the 82nd uniform was last year.
Go go gadget football!
Yep
Real football for the love of the game. God bless all those who participate.
So: have a great game, and for God's sake, don't kill each other!
Those are sharp uniforms...both of them. But I wish the Navy would have been focused more on the fleet, rather than just air. Maybe a WW2 carrier task force theme or something.
Go Hilltoppers!
Navy...
Army's uniform is appropriate - it's going to be snowing for the game.
GO ARMY! BEAT NAVY!
Go Navy!
Most beautiful unis ever.
Cool post. I recommend everyone nav the link to the story for great pics.
Thanks again.
GO AIR FORCE!
I highly recommend that President Trump removes all leftists from leadership positions at all military academies and specialist schools. Active duty ones should be assigned bear-petting duties on an Alutian island and the civilians should be assigned to lost jewelry recovery efforts in the open latrines. If they want to quit that is ok.
I really am a history geek. While the navy uniforms look better, the history behind the Army uniforms make them way cooler.
You’re absolutely right. It could easily be done. “For the good of the service”.
“Real football for the love of the game. God bless all those who participate”.
Hear, hear!
Thanks.
I thought the army uniforms were spectacular!
The uniforms were both great this year!
And as an extra benefit, it was easy to tell the teams apart!
