Brailsford orders Shaver, 26, to lay face-down in a hallway and refrain from making sudden movements - or risk being shot. He also orders a woman in the hallway to lie on the ground. Shaver is seen complying with the officer's order to put his hands on top of his head and cross his left foot over his right foot.
"Young man, you are not to move. You are to put your eyes down look down at the carpet you are to keep your fingers interlaced behind your head you are to keep your feet crossed," Brailsford says. "If you move, we are going to consider that a threat, and we are going to deal with it and you may not survive it, do you understand me?"
"Yes sir," Shaver says.
Brailsford then orders the woman to kneel, put her hands in the air and crawl towards officers. Officers then apparently handcuff her out of the view of the camera.

But I did not make up the whole pop-up target thing. Police academies use them, and private training academies use them. And some diabolical training officer certainly could include a target of a man with his hand in his pocket.
My hypothetical is reasonable. In that specific training situation (on a target range, not in the middle of a firefight), should the cop shoot?
And I’ll give you the last word on this, as I’ve got a Charlie Chan movie ready to go on the DVD player.
He'd be just as dead but not surprised.
And we're back where we started from. Make sure the uniformed jackass doesn't feel threatened when that third finger touches your wallet. Your life is at stake, here.
Shoot. Of course. Anybody with his hand in his pocket is an obvious threat. Hands NOT in pockets are also threatening. In fact, any "civilian", at any time, may be considered a threat for any reason, so long as the cop remembers to say the magic words.
Difference is Sean Groubert was convicted and sits in jail today. The leadership of the Mesa Police Department assured the dick head examined in this thread that he made a good shoot. What does this mean in regards to the safety of the average citizen interacting with LEO anywhere and in any context.
I dont wish to watch it. From the still, it appears the victim is white? No outrage from BLM?
Heh. I'll give you one better, that I have actually seen in training: a man holding a caulking "gun". Really gives you something to think about after the exercise ...
The target was in sight for a long time trying desperately to not get killed by the trigger happy cop. Maybe I need to scroll up to see what the fuck your talking about. This was murder with a badge plain and simple. Training ain’t got shit to do with it, Pop up targets don’t have shit to do with it. A man crying begging not to get murdered by a thug is what was displayed. Cops killing/murdering their employees is what we saw. WTF are you doing discussing pop up targets. I fucking hate cops. Now even more. Nothing the roided up power dicks can’t screw up more than someone in need. Never call them unless your prepared to shoot them. If they stop you be prepared to defend yourself or beg for mercy and we saw what that gets you. If that was my kid he would die slowly over days. Citizens do not respect cops. Less than 20% do anyway. Disgusting!
This wasn’t bad training. Cops are the enemy in my opinion and nothing in my 50 years have changed my mind.
Wow...
:-(
I notice that you refused to answer the question.
I don’t have anything against the police as a rule.
I haven’t read about this much. From what my son told me, that guy is a sadistic power tripper and shouldn’t be out there doing that sort of thing.
I don’t understand the guy who shot the dog and forced the owner to decapitate it.(entirely different event)
The more I read and the more I go out and about the more I’m convinced our society is getting more dumb and demonic by the day.
The media is making people godless, weak and unable to think for themselves.
You a troll?
The only answer to give is, “That doesn’t happen, so the question serves only to advance the agenda of the left.”
My post in 148 was harsh to the point of rude to you. If I came across harshly or rude I apologize. That video really shook me hard. I don’t like cops and I am very law and order guy. I’m really saddened and angry at the same time. Wow. I can’t believe what I saw. It really made me ill in my heart and soul. I still don’t believe people can do this to another person. That a cop did it makes it worse. That he got away with it - just wow. Sick bastards all of them. The shooter, anyone who helped or cover for him I hope the have took over their shoulder for that shot back for a while but not too long.
“the uniformed jackass”
There’s the fundamental error that invalidates your entire line of argumentation.
No worries. And no need for an apology.
This story has angered and upset just about everyone who saw it. It’s bad enough that a cop shot and killed an innocent man, for no good reason. Then that cop is acquitted of murder. So we’re all getting a bit riled up over this.
Thanks for touching base.
Groan! A description that you don't happen to like, doesn't invalidate any argument.
No to mention that the thuggish, bully cop who was doing all the yelling , and playing the cruel game of simon says, which I consider a form of torture, wasn't even charged with anything, and is now living scott free in the Philippines.
My 156, not meant for you, obviously!
A description that you don’t happen to like, doesn’t invalidate any argument.
I’m a betting man. And I’m betting your post #156 was not meant for me, but for someone else.
