Congressman Jim Jordan (R-OH) grilled FBI director Christopher Wray Thursday morning. The conservative firebrand demanded Wray confirm whether or not Trump-hating FBI agent Peter Strzok applied for the FISA warrant to spy on Trump officials.

No, this is what the seat of government has become.
I hope you are wrong about Wray. But I acknowledge that you could be right.
With regard to the Wray dodging and weaving with Jordan I believe he is on pretty solid ground when he refuses to discuss FISA matters in an open session. But he is obligated to do so in an appropriately classified session and I expect he will.
Fingers crossed.
WHAT???? How did I miss this? The FISA documents regarding what exactly, were shredded??
Jim Jordan is such a good guy. If he would only prepare his questions like a real attorney would.
All these guys ask questions that give the questionee the opportunity to bifurcate. They never seem to rehearse the questions they plan to ask of a non-cooperative witness. But they *DO* imagine that there is a defense lawyer sitting next to the witness, ready to object; whether a legitimate objection or as a diversion.
The just don’t do it. They know they have a mere 5 minutes. They proffer theories, which are not questions. They ask questions in a tip-toe fashion as if an imaginary defense atty is going to object when there IS no somebody to object. When they ask a question it mostly elicits an “either/or” answer.
Jordan spent a solid minute asked Wray “Is this the same Peter Strzok...” who did this, did that, did the other thing, went this way went that way.
No, Jim, there are 6 people at the FBI named Peter Strzok.
He asked questions relating to the FISA court & warrant when he knows damned well that those questions can (and will) ALWAYS by sloughed off by claims of national security.
He wasted easily 75% of his time.
Wray speaks like another FBI weasel. In the unlikely chance there is ANY actual classified intelligence in the FBIs FISA application, those parts could be redacted. Knowing the name of the Agent who prepared the application is absolutely not classified. Rep. Jordan made good political points but he should have insisted that Wray answer yes or know to Strzoks involvement with the use of the fake dossier to spy on Americans.
I would support that. Enthusiastically.
Maybe not him direct. I’d place a bet on ValJar, however.
Link goof on previous. Here is the correction:

We need a few head shots.
Since Wray is claiming the FISA warrant wasclassified Trump can declassify it and order Wray to produce it.
++++
I believe FISA Court materials, since they ALWAYS involve an American citizen whose name must be protected, are necessarily classified at some level.
So put Wray in a closed-door classified session and ask those question again. Then he has to answer them.
Thanks for posting.
You're not going to like the answer.

My bold.
Good points.
Prison hell. Start construction on a gallows and hang every one of these traitors!
Wray doesn't mind being grilled, but he was visibly shaken when Jordan told him the demotion of Strzok was tied to peddling the dossier to obtain FISA warrants.
When i read it today, that headline, my thought was oh a despots paradise in a banana republic. Thats what you see too hi?
Another FBI weasel.
Yes, the crippling depression that leads to suicide and death. In Ft Marcy Park, or the gunshot in the back of the head, or the barbell that falls on the neck...
