Congressman Jim Jordan (R-OH) grilled FBI director Christopher Wray Thursday morning. The conservative firebrand demanded Wray confirm whether or not Trump-hating FBI agent Peter Strzok applied for the FISA warrant to spy on Trump officials.

LOL. No, what I am saying is that Sessions is doing his job. On what basis can you say that he isn't doing his ob? DOJ is doing a far better job under Sessions than was done under Lynch and Holder. We are actually enforcing our laws, especially on immigration and the crackdown on gangs.
Bottom line, your attacks on Trump, combined with your admitted personal involvement with Sessions, just lead me to further believe that Sessions is part of the swamp, and is working against the President. Nothing else would explain why you're trying to blame Trump first, instead of Sessions first, for the despicable cover up currently going on at the DoJ.
Sessions is not the enemy. He is trying to drain the swamp. You have SDS.
Here are what some of the enemies of Jeff Sessions are saying (go to the articles for the specific accomplishments):
Jeff Sessions has done more damage in his first 100 days than his boss
US attorney general Jeff Sessions may not be part of the biggest investigation in the Department of Justice, but as he reaches 100 days in office, theres little doubt that hes had an important impact on the American criminal-justice systempotentially for years to come.
Despite the political turmoil of the Trump administration, Sessions has moved to reverse a tide of progressive reform and to fulfill his bosss law-and-order agenda, a collection of concepts loosely articulated during the 2016 presidential campaign. Sessions biggest actions, from undermining federal oversight of police departments to cracking down on undocumented immigrants, have worried a wide array of lawmakers, law-enforcement leaders, advocates and scientists.
Of all the cabinet members, maybe even the president, he has to this point had the most significant impact as to policy changes, said Jesselyn McCurdy, the deputy director at the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) Washington Legislative Office told Quartz.
Unlike his boss, Sessions is delivering on what he has promisedsometimes on causes he has championed for decades.
Theres been a great bipartisan movement by organizations on the ground and members of Congress to reform the federal criminal-justice system, based on successes that have happened in the states, but the leader of opposition to that reform was Jeff Sessions, as a senator from Alabama, McCurdy said. These are all things that [Sessions], as a criminal justice reform opponent, had on his radar already.
McCurdy said Sessions was definitely living up to the ACLUs concerns, and in some areas, fulfilling the worst-case scenarios.
Jeff Sessions ushers in 'Trump era' at the Justice Department
In just over two months, Sessions has proved to be a central figure in effectuating Trump's vision for America in tangible ways on immigration, crime, police reform and civil rights.
And while the White House searches for new messaging to frame what Trump has accomplished in the first 100 days in office, Sessions has single-handedly managed to make several significant domestic policy changes -- from pressing pause on implementing police reforms to withdrawing Obama-era protections for transgender students in public schools.
His radical transformation of the Justice Department's role is no accident.
Many of the changes Sessions has made thus far track a familiar principle of federalism: the notion that the federal government's powers are limited and it can't coerce states into action. In other words, the federal government should get out of the states' way.
Sessions' critics worry that he is well on his way to undoing many of the major progressive achievements of his predecessors, often by withdrawing from court cases or previous directives that fail to align with his views. Yet Trump supporters cheered Sessions on during the presidential campaign when he said, "the American people are not happy with their government."
Now that Sessions is the nation's top law enforcement officer, his defenders and critics universally agree: he's been busy fulfilling the President's campaign promises and he's just getting started.
By hiding all the evidence of the corrupt DoJ, including the details of Strzok which were subpeonaed, from Congress. You know, the evidence that you just tried to blame Trump for withholding, instead of Sessions, when it's actually Sessions department, and responsibility, first.
You're fooling no one. Never have, which is why I've been on your tail for weeks now. Why you're so committed to defending the DoJ is the only question left.
Yes, it is. Thanks for posting!
Not so much him really just the whole charade that we know will either lead to insignificant prosecutions or nowhere at all. Dont get me wrong I like Jordan however the wrong goose was before that committee
Thanks for the clarification and I can see what you mean.
I don’t think Mueller’s charade will last much longer. He’s in a bad spot and will try to figure out a way to wiggle out of the hole he’s dug. But this injustice must not be let go or shrugged off.
Agree this needs to come to an end with people in prison. Imagine if it were you or me in legal problems with the feds. Think wed get the leeway these vermin are being granted? Sickening
Yes, sickening and obscene.
Yep, we’d be in Leavenworth until we died.

You can't be that dense. Do you have a reading comprehension problem? If there is an ongoing criminal investigation, releasing the information will prejudice the case.

I guess I will just ignore you. You are suffering from a severe case of Sessions Derangement Syndrome. You should seek help. Good-bye.
Caught them all with their pants down.
Poke 'em in the eye!
I think you have it wrong.
Nunes, Jordan and others have been working for months to get us to this point.
><
You are right on. And while they were working on it, Trump and others have been feeding Mueller and his gang the rope with which they will hang themselves.
Mueller has dug himself into a deep hole.
Trump is smart and I’d bet he has some things up his sleeve.
Sessions I believe was forced by certain people in the deep state to recuse himself so that it would be Rothenstien <SP? who could appoint the Special Counsel. Part of the set up for the silent coup. Sessions is being complicit in all of this; what does he know?
IRT your 52.
According to press accounts, the FBI started investigating Trump in June 2016 and probably had some form of the dossier in hand when they were turned down on the first FISA request. After increasing the paperwork stack, they went back to the FISA court in October and were granted permission to monitor Trump. This probably included the a near final version of the dossier. There were supposedly 16 different versions of the dossier floating around. By the time McCain got his hands on the dossier and gave to the FBI, it was old news at the FBI and the MSM.
I know there are a lot of cynics on Freerepublic, but I personally really do believe that this is all about to turn on Mueller, Hillary and Obama.
Scandals reach a point where they can no longer be ignored.
We complain that Bill Clinton escaped justice, but if you consider the Media stronghold that existed when he was President coupled with an absence of the Internet, the fact that he was impeached is actually pretty incredible.
You noticed how this new guy immediately stiffed the President who appointed him, by refusing to release the Kennedy Files right? Oh his CIA director did the same thing. In fact everyone in his cabinet except Ben Carson has publicly disagreed with him.
Ben made a mistake though pointing out that 500 Billion was missing at HUD and that was a major story for weeks, uh except that it wasn't.
These Cabinet guys seem to think they are totally independent and Trump seems to think they are too else he should have already shit canned the lot of them.
And more than half the voter in the last election were fine with it. They are so down with it that they are openly attempting a Coup d'état.
You weren't his audience obviously.
Jim mauled Sessions last week too and that almost undead Southern Gentleman was piqued to say the least.
Surely you jest.
Yep. We are on the brink now relying on one man to reverse our course from an Oligarchy run by political class elitists, government technocrats and lobbyists back to a Constitutional Republic.
