In just a few minutes, Al Franken will appear in the well of the Senate to announce his decision about whether to stay or go. CNN and NBC report that Franken will indeed resign and make this his final appearance in the Senate:

I suspect that the hidden message is that he’ll resign when hell freezes over or something along that line. He probably will refuse to resign after Moore is sworn in.
I guess the “one free grope” rule didn’t apply to Al.
I assume they’ll want Moore to do the same.... LMFAO... Not likely. Pretending that they enforce or support some sort of moral code, doesn’t make it so. They don’t.
Always, always point out that these poor scandalized Democrats and the media (I know, same difference) have known about this all these years. And point out that they’ve talked about it and even joked about it. Cokie Roberts has outright said ladies in the press knew who not to get into elevators alone with.
Then follow up that they aren’t outraged, they’re covering their asses.
These are the same people who have had taxpayers pay the hush money for years!
And, yes, Republicans were involved but you can point out that for over 30 years the seriousness of the charges has mainly gone just one way and that Democrats have largely been protected by the media. You can then follow up by asking: if they’ve been protected wouldn’t you expect folks to take advantage of the fact?
The Democrats aren’t upset about sexual harassment, they are upset about being caught not being upset about sexual harassment.
I caught the “take away” from his speech that will be the headlines for weeks. ....serving under a man (Trump) who molested a child......blah blah blah. Moore won’t be the only resignation they call for. This whole comedy of errors is about “getting” Trump.

Franken said he would resign in the coming weeks. But he has not yet resigned. Nor did he specify a specific date he would resign.
With a non-apology apology. He still does not admit to many of the accusations and then claims he remembers the others differently than the gals do.
If Gov Mark Dayton does appoint Tina Smith, the current Lt. Governor, she will not be a popular choice as she is a planned parenthood shill and I believe also worked for PP in the past. Minnesota is a strong pro-life state. The only reason these goofy liberals have won elections is that they are celebrities with name recognition.

Well, that's how he stole his first election.
Every day he'd go out and "find" a couple of hundred "misplaced votes" and bring them in and, with a straight face, demand that they be counted.

It’s certainly the view they are trying to foster. Just like how they are now trying to act that they’d been bullied and pushed around by Hillary, rather than the willing participants that they often were, and that she done them wrong rather than that they collectively have done us (the American people) wrong ... they want to deceive their way out of getting caught lying.
