Administrative employees are nominally subject to the control of those appointed by politicians who have won elections, but Democrats embedded in the federal bureaucracy have proclaimed themselves part of the resistance to President Trump, and are using their positions to undermine his administration. Bureaucrats thus frustrate the will of the voters. President Trump has been in office for nearly a year, and has yet to take control over the federal bureaucracy that nominally reports to him.
I agree with Professor Barnett that this is a constitutional crisis. The most powerful branch of todays government is the Fourth: the permanent federal bureaucracy that is nowhere mentioned in the Constitution. The Trump administration can best be viewed, perhaps, as a struggle to the death between American voters and the federal employees who are paid to serve them.

FedGub versus the American people.
Yes, in slow motion led by the kenyan usurper and the clinton crime syndicate. What they don't seem to understand is that if they get close, their own well being will be in peril.
Since the moment Jeb got dissed by Trump on stage. Yep
Sedition. The government has already decided to have a shut-down this weekend. It is a constitutional crisis. Democrats are poor losers.
Yes, they are.
On the conspiratorial level, it’s all political. ‘Installing’ bureaucrats with ideologies.
On the more practical level, it’s psychology/sociology. There is an arrogance that I’m sure (but I don’t know personally) comes with serving in these positions where you believe that because you are privy to the inside information, you know better than the pesky critics who question your every move.
I suspect bother are true, to varying degrees, depending on who it is you are looking at.
It’s amazing that Hillary still runs the FBI
For decades we were told these are career civil servants that were a- political. We were never told they hob nob together, live together, their kids attend the same schools, wives sit on boards, boards sit on wives, they donate to politicians, pay to play. Its a cesspool that needs to be drained.
Is the Pope Socialist?
“What they don’t seem to understand is that if they get close, their own well being will be in peril.”
We are now getting to that point and yes they will get slaughtered like pigs.
Calling Madame Defarge!
Trump needs to announce a massive layoff of federal employees. About half which includes most of the the upper management.
Trump’s presidency is the trophy the Coup leaders are working for. If Trump is forced out then the USA is OVER as we know it; Next comes civil war.
Call to arms........
I look at the US Senate. It happened with Murkowski, Lieberman, Cocheran. Now, it's Franken and Roy Moore. It's about the US Senate and their deep-state owners deciding who gets to serve in the US Senate.
That's why I support Al Franken keeping his Senate seat until and unless he's voted out. It's part of establishing the precedence of determining who can and cannot be in the US Senate...voters be damnned.
F*** the union rules ... START FIRING PEOPLE
End the unions too.
They should be illegal for public employees to form unions against ... THE PUBLIC.
Some professions draw different types of people. The type of person attracted to a bureaucracy is likely a liberal, for what reason I don’t know.
This is one reason why term limits are useless at best and a diversion at worst.
Repeal the 17th Amendment, it’s the only way to be sure.
