full title: Email from special counsels No. 2 shows more anti-Trump bias on Russia probe team A top prosecutor who is now a deputy for Special Counsel Robert Muellers Russia probe praised then-acting Attorney General Sally Yates after she was fired in January by President Trump for refusing to defend his controversial travel ban.
The email, obtained by Judicial Watch through a federal lawsuit, shows that on the night of Jan. 30, Andrew Weissmann wrote to Yates under the subject line, I am so proud.
He continued, And in awe. Thank you so much. All my deepest respects.

Trump should call over to Session and tell him to fire anyone in the DOJ that worked against or supported not defending his travel EO. Enough is enough and Trump has a right to have professionals in the DOJ that can understand the plain reading of the Constitution of the United States.
These are partisan hacks and they should go. IF Weissman is one of them, so be it. Sorry Mueller, you don’t get to employ hacks despite your independence.
this guy has been described as a rabid dog...
One can only wonder how long this liberal scam witch hunt will be allowed to continue. They have been exposed! For god’s sake, somebody put an end to this nightmare! My blood pressure is through the roof.
we know what they do with rabid dogs...
yet, Trump appears to remain quite cool.
I only wish that he had a few rabid lawyers on his team.
It’s almost like Trump is waiting as the deep state players get flushed out of their cover. The longer the investigation goes on, the better Trump looks and the worse the investigators look.
I read a report earlier, the Mueller removed Strzok because of leaking, not because of his Trump bashing.
“For gods sake, somebody put an end to this nightmare! My blood pressure is through the roof.”
You’re not the only one. I’m stunned that this continues, and nothing has happened. Maybe PDJT is letting it run specifically to expose to the world how corrupt things are. But enough is enough; it has to stop.
Poor Hannity last night... he was ready to explode. He actually had spittle coming from his mouth once because he was so riled up.
Weismann must be fired immediately.
This investigation is looking more like a Salem style witch hunt.
Sessions is AWOL.
MIA.
Me too. I keep trying to tell myself to take my cues from the President. He's attacked day and night from every side and yet every time I see the guy on the TV he's smiling, laughing and joking. He's funny and relaxed at his rallies and speeches. Meanwhile I'm furious and ranting.
The man amazes me. Tells me that he knows a lot more than we do and all may not be what it seems.
President Trump cannot interfere in any way with Mueller, because that is what the Swamp will call obstruction of justice and would be used as grounds for impeachment. Nevermind that the Mueller garbage is itself a blatant anti-constitutional miscarriage of justice. The Swamp doesn’t care. They are only waiting for that one thing to happen that will give them grounds to impeach. Yes, the Swamp really is that corrupt, mendacious and vicious.
Sessions is scared he will get caught up in a trap!
I am sick of this!! If the tables were turned, and a Dim was under investigation - I know, I like dreamin - and, one of the top investigators was found to say/do ANYTHING AntiDem....heads would roll and the entire investigation would be shut down.
Congress must be the one(s) to put pressure on mueller to end this damned corrupt fishing expedition.
If only they had the guts to do the right thing!
Think “professional wrestling,” except that the bar guy really is bad.
How fitting it is to refer to Andrew Weissmann as a piece of 'number two'...
“Sessions is AWOL.
MIA.”
Sessions is doing what he was sent to do, be the Deep State Mole on Trump’s team.
