No it was just a bald faced lie in my view. a Sophmore high school student in journalism would check that out. This is law suit time.
Taped on purpose to be used by (given to) CNN to make ABC News look “responsible and contrite after an innocent mistake.” He MAY actually be pissed, but CNN didn’t just ‘get a hold of the tape.’ It hurt them all, so they are all in it together to make ABC look responsible.
That announcement cost $billions in 401K money when the market freaked out over it. ABC should be sued out of business. I would think anyone who lost money as a result of this would have standing to sue them.
