CNN’s senior White House correspondent Jim Acosta called on reporters to “resist” when they are attacked at a Monday journalism summit in Washington, D.C.
Acosta pointed out that while journalists are not members of the “resistance,” they should still “stand up” when the institution of journalism is being attacked.
“We are not part of ‘the Resistance’ but … if journalism is attacked, we should resist. That is up to us,” Acosta reportedly told those gathered at the Poynter Ethics Summit. The conference gathered Washington correspondents and other editors to speak on how to report in an era where trust in the media has declined.
“I think these are all just American principles that we are allowed to push back on in our work,” Acosta added.

Hahaha….Acosta thinks he can fool us into thinking they haven’t been resisting yet. We all know they’ve been part of the Democrat effort to get rid of our President since he was elected, and we do not appreciate it. We put up with their a**hole emperor for eight miserable years, and we expect the same from the Left now.

Conservatives are resisting a march toward government tyranny and socialism in America. What do liberals think they are resisting, our resistance?
If we are the antiestablishmentarians, are they not the antidisestablishmentarianists? They want the corrupted status quo and we want to unseat the corrupted establishment government.

If journalism keeps lying, being disingenuous and hypocrites, then yeah, they should be attacked - verbally that is; not inciting riots as they did when Trump was elected vs 0bama being emaculated by the MSMLSD.
There are attacks on propaganda outlets, such as CNN/MSNBC/NYT/WaPo/ABC/NPR, but I have seen no attacks on real journalists.

If you didn’t have a politically driven agenda and what you published was criticized, you’d decide whether a review was necessary to determine if you are having problems with accuracy because your responsibility to your readers would compel you to want to.
