President Donald Trump said it was unfair that formal national security adviser Mike Flynn had his "life ruined" for lying to the FBI, the president said when speaking to reporters Monday morning.
Trump blasted former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton for reportedly lying under oath to the FBI and not suffering any consequences, while Flynn currently faces charges for making false statements to the bureau.

Most people I know think the whole mess is beyond repair and needs to be reconstituted.
“I think he plays their game better than they do.”
The last time he made one of those outrageous claims about “wiretaps”...the facade of several buildings in DC sported cracks and began to crumble.
If Clinton lied under oath and Comey/Lynch/Obama decided not to prosecute...and Trump knows this...buy popcorn futures.

We can’t tolerate it. A free society can’t either, but who is doing anything about it? Sessions? Don’t make me laugh. Congress? Useless. The President? He’s boxed in by the very problem we are looking to solve. As this whole bloodless but very real coup continues apace, only we are left to try to help push back, but our efforts are feeble, leaderless and disjointed. We all see it happening but don’t know how to stop it.
Hillary Clinton won the popular vote, so she has "Popular Executive Privilege."

I thought Hillary was not under oath when she was interviewed by the FBI....So you can’t get her for lying....
Because the FBI is totally corrupt.
It was Hillary breaking federal laws that is worse than Flynn.
And I thought you didn’t have to be under oath to be prosecuted for lying to Federal investigators like the FBI???

Federal statute 18 USC Section 1001 prohibits making “false statements” to government officials. It doesn't matter if you are under oath.
As I understand it, Hillary did what Flynn did.
They made false statements to government officials. They did what Flynn did.
The FBI never swore her in for her testimony, thus avoiding the charge.
Because the FBI did not record or even take notes during Hillary’s interview.
Pres. Trump is pointing this out in a sly manner.
As pointed out upthread, lying or even misleading the FBI is a felony regardless of whether one is under oath. The FBI wasn’t going to chance one of their notes being used against Hillary.

Only non-Democrats are obligated to be truthful or face criminal prosecution when speaking to the FBI?
This is the whole point of saying the FBI lacks integrity.
So if FBI stands for Fidelity, Bravery and Integrity, one out of three ain’t bad: they are completely faithful to the Democrats.

Of course, you must first have a functioning “Rule of Law”.
Because Comey didn’t put her under oath, an egregious departure from protocol.
The answer is obvious. Most of the softball questions in the very short Hillary interview were like this:
Are you comfortable? Since your destroyed emails were about recipes and yoga, can you give me some tips on your favorite recipes?
Oh, you like tarts? What is the flavor you prefer? Fish, my that is excitingly different.
